What actress would be your pick to play Indira Gandhi in her biopic?

We all know it's only a matter of time before the biopic on her gets made.

I just don't know who would be a great choice to play her.

If it helps, I'm thinking it'd be for the best if the film focuses ONLY on the Emergency period leading up to her assassination instead of covering her whole life. So a story that's set in a very short period of time. Something like 'Jackie' would be apt.

Give me names of actresses who could portray the role of Indira.

Vidya confirmed she's doing a biopic web series on Indira for Netflix. And I can think of no better actor suited for that role. ❤️

Kangana would be perfect.

Kangana as Indira and Katrina as Sonia with Ranbir as both Rajiv and Rahul😆

One and only Madhuri. She can play any age.

Other than her great actors are Rani, Priyanka, Vidya, Kangana bu they don't look like her.

Just have a look at this interview of Indira Gandhi. Kangana's voice and style of speaking does match her.

But Kangana wouldn't play indira she hate's congress.

Meryl played Margaret I am sure Vidya or Tabu can do it too.. this role needs screen presence and awaaz Mai dum... Kinda matured personality
