Kiara announces her new project Indoo Ki Jawani

Kiara Advani has been racking praises ever since her debut movie Fugly. The 26-year-old actress, who was last seen in Kalank, has bagged many projects. Her new project is a full-fledged lead film. The actress, who is gearing up for her next movie Kabir Singh alongside Shahid Kapoor, took to her official social media handle and tweeted about her new project Indoo Ki Jawani.

Produced by Nikkhil Advani, Niranjan Iyengar, and Ryan Stephen, the coming-of-age film revolves around a girl feisty girl from Ghaziabad, Indoo Gupta, whose left swipes and right swipes with a dating aap results in hilarious chaos. The film will also be Bengali filmmaker Abir Sengupta’s debut in Bollywood.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kiara who was all fired up about her first female-centric film, said, “Indoo is edgy, lovable and quirky. The dialect is completely new so I’m going to do a lot of workshops to get it right. I can’t wait to start shooting.” She further said that the story is relevant in today’s time and with the character’s background and setting, the film is really exciting.

Movie critic Taran Adarsh made an official announcement through his official social media handle. He wrote, “IT'S OFFICIAL... Kiara Advani in #IndooKiJawani... Starts Sept 2019...
