Yeah..he himself said in an interview very recently that he is playing a demon.

I completely blame Pearl and Mahir for my pains now...they made sure Mahir was such a person that u can't help falling in love and now I don't know how to move on...😔

They still have so much to explore in behir story.

No I got purab is her true mate...but didn't know Namik was villein... thought some kind of triangle thing...he seems so nice...

Mahirji was truly a gem.

A refreshing break from all the abusive angry young man male leads who literally got saturated .

Har show dekho wahi push pull..over possesiveness..was truly fed up seeing many variants of the same character.

And then came mahirji as a breath of fresh air..and he swept off both bela and us off our feet!

Rest is history,as they say!

"I didn't want to be typecast. [So, I was sceptical about] playing a demon after essaying a ghost. But they assured me that it would be nothing like my previous roles."

This news kind of disappointed me.they could've made the other guy villain. felt Namik would be better as a hero,though I've never watched any show of his.

I saw Ek diwaana tha coz I heard hero is a ghost...so ofcourse I had to watch it😆...and koi kuch bhi bole I loved Shiv...the guy who loves his gf so much he comes back as ghost after getting murdered, just to protect her from the psycho murderer pretending to be heroine's friend...I loved Shiv and his shayaris....so when I saw Namik is in kavach I had to peek in ..but a demon....😮are we sure he is villein though? Demon hai to negative hona zaroori hai kya? And Purav hero hai to promos mein kyun nehi hai? I say stories where monsters are the real hero are always more interesting...u know Vampire, werewolf, ghost, wizard, Demon...any of these falling in true love with human girl always make great novels...😆Kya ye log Namik ko villein banake purab ko hero banana bad idea...

Vaise kal last Behir scenes...sabko kaisa laga? I found felt and saw our good old Mahir ji till the last sec and that's what made the scenes good along with bgm and fb...but Bela....Bela nehi mil rahi thi kahi...vo ladki jo Mahir k arms mein khil jati hai... The one literally glowing and smiling so much in the previous SR...kal dikhi nehi...stiff, roni shakal wali tired lag rahi thi...jaise smile karne ka bhi man nehi...I mean precap mein uski face dekh k we thought she was imposter, kuch jhol hai...but it was her only....I know they had to shoot like mad and SJ bohot tired thi...but so was Pearl and Mahir k eyes face mein vohi love happiness jhalak raha tha..and this was last Behir scenes of show and I saw Shravni maybe, tired SJ definitely but Mahir ka Bela? No.... happy ending mila...thoda rushed but acche scenes mile with good bgm and fb... Mahir ji bhi mile, maan kar raha tha dekhti rahu unhe...agar Bela bhi sahi se milti to shayad happy ending wali feeling bhi completely ati mujhe...

Hmm situations changed hogaye Kal N3 hi N3 laga wo toh kuch hi episodes se yehi chal raha h pata nai kya chal raha tha aur baba ka gyan so much timeloss
