I think I'm repeating this, and might have posted the same before but still...I just wanted to.

So the original one is anyways my favourite. And there automatically is a bias formed in my head whenever I learn about a remake. But this one I gave a try considering that I like Rekha Bhardwaj's voice and her songs too.

So I started listening to it, not bad...not bad at all infact. I think I'm loving this equally....And then comes Jagjit Singhs voice. Fuuukk!! What a goosebump effect it was. Just writing about it again has brought back the same feeling. Can't explain ALD...it was just something so surreal/ ethereal/ transcendental...words fall short. I mean can you imagine? Like a merging of two different worlds. Almost like a seamless amalgamation of life and afterlife. I mean you feel the difference but it all just makes sense. A completely out of this world experience. Like he lent his voice from the afterlife and her voice gave the grounding and together they just balanced it out beautifully. Just other-worldly.

Yes, never seen this movie nor heard of these actors, Rajshri prod often introduced many new faces from that era I guess. This song showcases the innocence, chirpiness of the characters and Suresh Wadkar-Hemlatha combo just fits into the scene coating it with their melodious voice.❤️

Good you barged in. All we do is post songs and keep on gushing about how the song makes us feel again and again. It is a good way for outlet and expression of ones feelings. In fact we ourselves are doing this after such a long time.

Actually I never concentrated on any particular compositions or singers as such, but it so happens that I automatically happened to gravitate towards the same jodi / singer or their compositions.

I have never liked Parineeti's 'Mana ke hum'.

Have found it very bland and one tone and each time it plays it has a very nails on a blackboard effect on me.

^^Bepannah...if I am not mistaken ..was intended to give shrieky feel...bhoot types...🥶....this one completely changes the mood of it giving senti romantic vibe...Lovely...🤗

Yeh Jeevan hai is /was/ will b a classic...kya lyrics yaar...😇
