reasoning out why durga is shady !!!

well durga started off being a matured lady who used to be the next big thing after dadi -aj ..

since she was first bahu of jindal bhavan so maybe it was her responsibility to run the house smoothly without doing mistakes ..

from the beginning she might have been trained like that ..

maybe buwa was there when she was new to the family .

we all saw how buwa treats bahu's ..

maybe buwa was dominating and ruling on her and aj too was pin perfect and never liked indiscipline ..

maybe she was adopted to there rules like be perfect ,do perfect ,make sure everything perfect ..

when saru-lakshmi came she handled them as buwa handled her maybe .

maybe she felt like a frog in a well which it thinks the world is that much as it saw ..

but when guddan entered things changed drastically ..

aj let go few rules which was followed in the house ..

aj -dadi forgave guddan for few errors which really might have not gone well with durga ..

she might be thinking why special treatment for guddan those rules which were laid on them why can't those apply on guddan ..

jealousy ,insecurity and ego hit her badly ..

slowly she realized her importance her respect is draining out and guddan is getting more attention which she always craved for ..

she feared if aj really accepts guddan as wife she will lose grip on the ppl and responsibility ..

so she always tried to rip there relationship ..

her main motive was to be next aj of the house so that lakshmi-saru is in her mutti..

insecurity in ppl will drive them to the lowest pit ..

eg--its the same as sister-in-law and babhi relationship rarely we see them jelling ...

jealous on bhabhi is common because they think there importance is fading off ..

I agree that Durga has lost its importance, especially since the Guddan Jindal entered the house. See I think Durga was perfect Bahu, all the conditions that AJ set up she performed the easiest way. If at home some rules are set, Durga is one of those people who knows how can live according to these rules. On the one hand, I understand that she is so angry, if the rules are there then everyone should respect them. She lives for years on these rules, and now these rules no longer valid. Especially for Guddan, she never had live according to these rules or any rules set up in that house. Of course, Durga is angry, she lives the whole life under these rules and if she did not want to live under these rules she had to live, because AJ word is law in that house.

One more thing her word was right after AJ word. But now Guddan has come and everything has changed. Durga wants to actually take AJ's place. She wants to be a copy of AJ.

guddan is nice girl and wins over hearts too so seeing that dayan jealous ..

You are right daayan always lived a life where rules were followed and if any error was there punishment was given.

Before Guddan entry's Daayan had some power after AJ in the house which she used on others but after Guddan's entry she lost all powers which she possessed some and it hurted her ego.

She always wanted power to rule on others but her plan was foiled with Guddan's entry so she is trying to hurt Guddan by any means like breaking her relationship or insulting her or any other ways so that she can possesses power

Durga’s insecurity, humiliation & ego was hurt before Akshan marriage

• Guddan smashed cake and humiliated AJ at his B-Day party he remained mum
• Guddan confusion drama regarding audition & marriage function. AJ remained silent n didnt do anything but he just stared at her
• The article about Guddan was published
• Guddan came and gave him an earful, he was just impressed
• Durga went to Gupta house to get Kaushaliya arrested, AJ came, dismissed the police officer, made Durga apologize to Kaushaliya and even he apologized
• Durga was irked, we saw her anger, she felt humiliated. She had a fit i front of her 2 Devrani, told Saru & Lakshmi the AJ that didnt apologize to no one apologized to 2 Kodhi ki guddans family something like that
• Durga went to confront Guddan asking her if she and AJ share something. Guddan told Durga go n ask AJ
• Even after all the Kands of Guddan, AJ chose Guddan as his bride.
• Durga & family tried talking him out of it but he handed the list of things need to be done.

So Durga didnt like that pre and after marriage AJ was always supporting, helping Guddan and correcting her mistake. But one of the fact is that Durga didnt understand that Guddan Auda was greater than her, as being Lady of the House and her SAAS.

Durga felt that Guddan was just trying to take her place, ruin her reputation & Izzat that she earned as the Bahu. After AJ everyone listened to her, she only barked orders to Saru & Lakshmi, Lakshmi always did the work. Durga overseen it, she only cooked during special occasion or when she kicked Guddan out of the house. 😂

Even after AJ’s declaration Durga still doesn’t get in her thick head that Guddan is SAAS, for SAAS & Bahu they are different rules.

Insecurity of losing her position of importance

+ jealousy of all love & adoration being showered on Guddu

+ having to no say over someone she considers having a value of nothing in front of her

+ having to see all the rules & regulations she has been following since she entered the Jindal bhavan meaning nothing suddenly.

+ desire to get back to the same position of importance & get the same control over the house as before

All the above has made her "Pagal" i.e,

But in all this she never realized, she never had an actual say in the house. The position she wants to get back had no value.

All she used to do is chaukidari of AJ's orders 🤓

She was a strict chaukidar who would bully Laxmi & Saru to work as she says & their fear of her & agreeing to do as she says

Gave her an impression that she was having some sort of power in the house. That is a delusion of hers cause the reality was even if AJ used to respect her & think of her as responsible enough to do the job of chaukidari, at the end of the day she was just a "muft ka chaukidar".

She felt she was in power cause, her malik gave her a job & his orders were such that was as per with her liking. Saru, Laxmi & ghar ke naukar-chakar fearing her & working as per her orders which were actually dictated by AJ used to make her feel superior. She loved that feeling of being superior in the house.

But that rutba & all she make strong claims off having before was never there for real in the 1st pace. She had no individuality or any saying in the house of her own. She was just a "ser hilaoing" person to AJ. That's it !

She was khokla before, she is Khokla now & she is fighting for her older khokla self.

Guddu has that individuality & the courage to speak her mind & keep her point in front to AJ fearlessly that forces AJ to think over & make changes.

Dayan thinks kicking out Guddu will give her back her position i.e. chaukidar job but I feel at this stage, if that happens, AJ won't want another chaukidar & will make her a maalee instead i.e. stay out of any position of executing authority & only do a job that she is ordered to be done. Have no influence over the working of the household as he himself will take over the whole of everything to distract himself from missing Guddu's presence.

Now I remember Lakshmi was the one who was arguing with Durga for choosing Guddan because she was incapable of being SAAS and AJ’s wife.

Even though Lakshmi had differences & problems with AJ since Epi 1 she wanted the best for him.👍🏼

Lakshmi started off as selfish wanted her cousins to be hitched to aj but somewhere she was angry with aj for not giving time for vardhan to spend time with her and kept him busy in restaurant and also rules that were applied on them by aj

Lakshmi never liked daiyan as control freak too

Eventually Lakshmi started liking akshan after goa track because she felt guddan took a stand for her first time someone stood by her unlike daiyan who always ruled on her .
