I will admit, the thought crossed my mind. But I dropped the idea for two reasons-

1. If Khushi liked Akash, there is no way she would have agreed to marry Arnav, given Arnav's reputation as well.

2. Unless Manohar is unaware of Khushi;s feelings, why would he compel her to marry Arnav? Ideally, wouldn't Manohar pick Akash to be Khushi, his demised friend's husband??

It's a very valid thought, and a brilliant one at that. Khushi absolutely doesn't care for the wealth that Arnav flaunts around. She is more into the simple pleasures of life and probably wanted a less complicated partner. Akaash seems to be a likely candidate

I dont know. Arnav's Party is already in Opposition. Do you mean, the reigning party could have hired Khushi for the same ??

But on what pretext?

Maybe, they mollycoddled or convinced her that Arnav was somehow involved with Shashi's death or was a ladder to reaching the man. Maybe, Shyam?

But then, Manohar could have helped her out too. He is a very resourceful man, right?

So what changed between her not wanting to marry him and agreeing to marry him? I suspect that is when Arnav joined PSP. It is like an opportunity fell in her lap. She is very sure that her marriage won't last long. So, she thinks she is not causing any harm to Arnav.

Anjali attended wedding rituals only when necessary. She did not even bother to attend Khushi's birthday bash. Apart from despising richness, I think Anjali resents someone from that family.

As N told me on the blog, we are way off with time lines. This is only a second chapter. I need to know a lot more before I come anywhere close to speculating correctly.

When did you come up with this theory? I am reading it for the first time.

Ok, your theory looks somewhat convincing. Anjali has a clubfoot. Maybe, someone would have lured her with a gold heart and kind words and she ended up with a broken heart.

See, we dont know anything about Akash's character yet. And N said that is an entire clan of new people here. If that is the case, Anjali might be nursing a broken heart to come and attend her sister's lavish bday party.

Also, Khushi might clearly resent Arnav's party, Shyam Biswas, and maybe, someone who works with Arnav and Shyam.

What if there is an entirely new character whose harmed Anjali and Khushi is seeking revenge??

To sum it up, we now have few plausible scenarios.

1. Khushi having her heart set on Akash and hence, she cannot accept Arnav.

2. Khushi is here for Shashi's revenge.

3. Khushi is here to seek revenge on Anjali's behalf

4. Akash's character being under the wrap, its plausible that he aint so clean as Manohar. Anyway, Arnav and Khushi are anti theatrical to each other. So Akash can be like other of them. If good, he holds Khushi's heart. If bad, he broke Anjali's heart?

5. I think, maybe, just maybe Khushi has a broken heart too. N said that Khushi has been wary of the opposite sex and expected Arnav to run away. Agreed, she was bound by responsibilities, but somewhere she might have liked someone ?? And maybe, that someone didnt reciprocate her feelings ?? 😲

So I was right, we did come up with good points in the last few hours. 😛

I just read both of the chapters and they were . It has been long since i stopped reading ff but tge way you write, the way you executed these chap. Arnav here is love while khushi is completely unaware about his love even wheb he is openly showing it😳

I dont know. Maybe MAnohar is not really as bad as he appears to Arnav and there may be more to Akash too. Manohar may be wanting Arnav to get what he desired-Khushi and may be trying to make amends for the wrongs that had happened to him in child hood?

N said that characters will be different from the original show so maybe we may see a grey shade to Akash too!!!

I second your theory that Khushi didnt marry Arnav for money but at Manohar's behest and me too thinks that Shyam or his dad may have had to do something with Shashi or Aarti murder

I like your theory on Anjali. She could have been made aware of her physical failings by Arnav's people or friends too,maybe Shyam or Aman.

Till we get to know more, speculation is the name of the game and probably this helps N in bringing more and more twists in the tale and leaves us pulling our hairs or hanging from the cliff by the edge of our teeth
