‘Sadak 2’ will see Alia exposing a fake guru who runs an ashram

After a long break, Mahesh Bhatt will be making his comeback in the industry with his next directorial project 'Sadak 2' featuring his daughters Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt. The film will also star Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Makarand Deshpande. The 1991 film Sadak's sequel will hit the theatres on July 10, next year. The fans are really excited to see the trio of father and daughters working on one movie.

The team has wrapped up the first schedule of the film. Pooja took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture from the sets of the film. She captioned the post as, "And it’s a wrap for our first schedule of Sadak 2. Earlier Alia had revealed that the film takes forward the story of Ravi and Pooja and she and Aditya will be a new addition to the story. According to reports, ‘Sadak’ was a romantic thriller based on the story of a taxi driver and a woman forced into prostitution, ‘Sadak 2’ will see Alia exposing a fake guru who runs an ashram.
