I don’t know how indian TV deal with the concept of abortion or how widely accepted it is in Indian society...... but i find the idea of shivi having had an abortion totally plausible and acceptable. Her family forgave her making a stupid mistake, she is single and her boyfriend is unacceptable so she’s had an abortion. A line that indirectly explains is will do for me.
