You and I have similar thought on the song choice. As soon as Prerna mentioned to play the song, I was like, here comes touch me touch me to make it more awkward for these two 🤣

Manik was good in his own ways and that character cannot be tainted just by Parth playing other characters in that style.. But I don't like the Manikised version of Anurag because Anurag Basu has his own beauty and charm which these both characters cannot share..

And by Parth showing shades of Manik everywhere he's limiting himself and stereotyping his roles. He can do more than that and he has proved his calibre across genre when he chose to play Anurag Basu who is nowhere in-line with Manik Malhotra..

Personally I have moved on from Manik and so his shades of appearance in Anurag is making difficult for me to get the original Anu in the initial episodes, which I like better. 😉

Thats why i avoid watching him . I can never be over manik ...i was a later comer ..i saw kyy recently and i didnt see anurag initially..my friend insisted a lot but i dont want to....but i like anurag also , he is too stupidly cute ..i like him 😆 every actor has his unique signature style . Every character of srk will have a little bit of srk in it . Parth wont be manik forever ..although the character is epic..obviously i wud love to see him playing different genres..anurag is not the one i can enjoy unfortunately ..he is only timepass..his fans are at his mercy..good for those who love him as anurag..

I guess if I have to like either Erica's or Parth's acting then I will have to move on from their previous characters else I am only liking them for that character and not for the actor that they are.. And yes some of SRK's special performances come from movies where he don't play his typical "Rahul"ish though his Rahuls and Rajs are also special in their own ways. 😉

Edit..after watching the epi, i didnt feel anything manikish in anurag..so as a warning if it happens let me know..i will happily skip 😆
