On a side note- why do you call Veer as “Veer guy”? We know he is a guy, its so redundant that it reminds me of chai tea latte

I like the comparison.... Its the same feeling with me when I read a book and I hate it....but I keep reading it....just to torture myself more and more.... Like I hated silk worm but I kept reading it cause I love JK Rowling and can't abandon anything she writes....

Anyway "Veer guy" is any day more bearable to read than the chants of "gemmy gemmy gem" that is so common to read in the forum these days. 🤔

No, I am not his fan! The Pam part doesn't bother me at all, I just wanted to know if it was deliberate (as a reference to something I did not know) or a typo, thats all. The gemmy gem thing does bother me tbh but just because its used too often and is a bit annoying to read. 🥱 Its not offensive to me, so please don't say sorry. :)

Exactly!! You get my feeling then- I have done the same with so many books and shows. I start off being interested and then have this compulsion to finish what I started even though I stop enjoying it. Such sadists we are. 😛

And I so feel you regarding JKR. The Cursed Child was just not good, but I HAD to read it because how could I not?!

And honestly I just asked because I have been binge watching The Office lately and they have this couple called Jim and Pam. I wondered whether you are a fan and have been anchored because of that to write Gem Pam. :P

I didn't like the cursed child much either..... But hey, if I can endure Lethal white....just cause of JKR then what's cursed child? I dunno if you've read her Cormorants Strike series but lethal white is a book that never ends....you just keep reading and reading...... And reading!!! Now, I call myself her biggest fan cause I finished that😂😂
