Is Malaykethu supposed to be Porus's son?

Malaykethu in this show does not seem to have a family. Is he supposed to be Porus's son?

God only knows in this serial who will be maleyketu

In history he was porus son

Did they show Malayketu at all ? I must have missed. Who is he now? Is that little kid in that huge well Malayketu or what?

I almost missed it too. I caught it while watching the show yesterday. It is the kid in the little kid who was in the well with Chandra Gupta and Chanakya. The director zoomed in a little too much on this kid when Chanakya was talking about Porus and they started calling him Malaykethu out of nowhere.

@myviewprem - I know! They are taking a lot of creative liberties just to make this show different from all other shows that have been made on Chandra Gupta Maurya's life.

As per history maleyketu was nepal king parvataks son and not porus son

But even if we assume malayketu is porus son(like dhurudhara became dhananand sister) Such small kid cannot be maleyketu

Because Porus was in his 50s when he and alexander had war and so his sons will be in their 30s

porus was defeated by alexander when chandragupta was kid (I am talking of history)

Porus alexander war took place 326 BC and chandragupta was born around 340 BC

So chandragupta was 14 years old kid when that war happened

Secondly alexader made porus king of punjab so malayketu will be next king of punjab as hes his son no??

So why seleucus put him in well???

In Porus, Puru and Lachi’s baby was named Malaykethu and was let go in Jhelum when he was a baby. This happened right before Ambikumar killed the two of them. It is still a possibility that the creators ignore the history and take creative liberties to dramatize the show.

Also, if I recall correctly, Seleucus did not succeed Alexander. Alexander was succeeded by his half-brother (technically speaking) who was specially abled. A regent ruled in his behalf; Seleucus conspired against the regent and took over the empire. I am not entirely sure as to who killed Porus in reality; I don’t think it was Seleucus though.

Not a history buff like you, I might be mixing up wars in my head.

In history Ambhi kumar did not kill Porus or his wife etc

Although in war of hypadeus, ambhi raj joined alexander against porus

But aleaxnder was so impressed by porus bravery that he made him vassal and gave back punjab to him

Hmmm i am not sure of that. I have read alexander had a sister whom he loved very much. This sisters son became emperor later years for greece. Alexander had three major wives or official wives. When alexander died two of his wives had kids one was barsine and another was roxanne. barsine was persian emperor darius daughter(watch porus serial) and she and her baby son were killed by roxanne after alexander death in egypt. Roxanne even killed alexanders third wife. Roxanne was an afgahnistan trible leaders daughter(not royal) and alexander was smitten by her so much that he danced to her tunes and ignored other wives or commanders advice. Roxanne filled alexanders court wth her relatives. After alexander death roxanne killed his other wives and his kid to ensure only her son became emperor and only shes empress. Roxanne was a ruthless politician. When she carried out the blood bathe, alexander commanders got to gether and eliminated her and her child too killed by his commander. Hence alexanders sisters son became emperor of greece later years. Aleaxnders huge kingdom was divided among his commanders. Among them seleucus was most powerful and got persia, egypt etc.
