There could be potential bad news for loyal viewers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay who wait for Karan Singh Grover’s entry in the iconic role of Mr. Bajaj.
If sources are to be believed, this good-looking hunk is still unsure about returning back to fiction TV.
It was reported last week that he has agreed to enter Star Plus show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, as Mr Bajaj. Karan is a huge name in the TV industry, having done hit series such as Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai. Interestingly, he was also a part of the old Kasautii as Sharad Gupta, over a decade back.
In 2015, he took a big screen detour with now better half, Bipasha Basu, in the horror flick, Alone. His second film, Hate Story 3, was a hit. But since then, his cine outings have hit a road block. He is still awaiting the release of Teen Dev, Firrkee and his last shot film, Aadat Diaries.
On Kasautii Zindagii Kay, our source says, “Karan is still in two minds and is contemplating whether to come back home to the tube or wait for his ALTBalaji web series, Boss, where he is the main lead. His other ALTBalaji web series, Judaai, is also stuck.”
Another source adds, “Karan is not against doing TV per se, but would prefer a new show, centering around him.”
Star and Ekta Kapoor have offered him a whopping amount of money to feature in Kasautii. So let’s see what final decision Karan takes. He will have to make up his mind pronto, as the shoot needs to start.
