I can understand your frustration... CVS didn't wanna make another Mauli, so they chose him, I guess. He seriously couldn't evoke emotions for him, it comes across more like a child's grudge. You didn't care for me, I won't care for you, as I can't see pain but just grudge and anger in his portrayal...

The only good thing of today's episode is Arnav.I love that guy.How sorted he is.When Veer said I am your Boss w/o battling a eye-lid he addressed him Sir.No drama thorough professional and writers are giving little SS to him.
