Does BW industry need saving? Can TV actors 'save' Bollywood industry?

And this was published in London's Eastern Eye magazine but I was puzzled by this tweet. My first question was does the Bollywood industry really need saving? I understand that there's a dearth of talent in BW industry, but aren't the audience mostly rejecting bad performances from star kids now days? So does the BW industry really need saving?

My second question is can TV actors really fill the talent gap? Only the most popular TV actors get opportunities in the BW industry, though most have failed due to lack of opportunities. But then, many TV actors get hyped up easily due to chemistry and the typical storyline of 'hate-love story' between male lead and female lead. The more talented actors are often ignored. So can TV actors really fill this gap?

Salman is the savior

Tv actors would never get much opportunities in bollywood. most of the popular tv actors failed in Bollywood and got back to doing dramas. I find parth really good. he is a young, decent actor, tall and good looking to me atleast. he would look good with the young actresses.

It needs saving from KJo. End of problem.

No, they can't. Almost all the TV actors actresses failed to have a BW career except few like Yami, Mouni and Sushant. Rest of their BW career went to the drain. KSG, Gurmeet, Guatam, Karan Wahi, Surveen, Prachi, Anita, Sakshi, Rajeev and Jay Bhanushali completely failed in Bollywood. Some of them even ruined their acting career like KSG and Barun by leaving TV for BW. Most TV actors actresses doesn't have good screen presence. That's why they don't fit in BW movies. In BW, you need other talents like dance and fight than acting but most TV actors lack these talents.

Pffft! Nobody cares about those two-bit TV actors 😵

Most if these popular TV actors have no range at all, all they can do is take off their shirt,manhandle the girl in name of romance,brood,pout and give blank expressions while the female lead gives a long monologue on "pyaar ki takat"😂There are few supporting actors on TV who are terrific actors and would do very well in character roles. Look at ronit roy, ram kapoor, sakshi, meher vij etc they are good actors and doing well for themselves

So true. They themselves couldn't save their career. Then, how would they save Bollywood?
