Okay as promised come up with my counter arguments .
For the purpose of keeping this brief im not going into pre Akarsh reveal & his deceptions just limiting this to next epi's preview.
1 )Jhanvi's justification-Akarsh lied to her about his mom.Well that's a feeble excuse. She deceived him too to get the lal pathar & also put Akarsh on the spot by demanding to meet his mom. That would mean Jhanvi would attempt to kill his mom which she did & Daayan would instantly harm her.
He couldn't refuse & as son & husband he needed keep both his loved ones out of harm's way. He was stuck between a rock & a hard place.
2 )Akarsh reaction- Satrupa presented that same deal to him. And he desperately needed that mani just like Jhanvi. Alot was on stake for him too. But he immediately without a second rejected it.
He could have taken the easy way out but he didn't want to betray Jhanvi's love.( And it would have been very easy for him to do it.)
The situations are entirely different I would say. Akarsh has time to think of other way and is in no hurry. He asked his mom to give him time and he is ready to take his time. His and his mom have super powers and their lives are not at as much risk as Jhanvi's family.
On the other hand Jhanvi's family don't even have 24 hours. After killing JHanvi's bhabhi in front of her eyes on Jhanvi's birthday, the daayan warned them that one by one she will kill everyone.
He has already betrayed her love before for his mom. His mom made his wife a daayan gulam. He saw her suffer but didn't himself turn her back normal like he did to Rimpi, prithvi and Jhanvi's bhabhi. She herself found out the way to get out of it. He hid his identity. How is Jhanvi supposed to trust him that he can save his family? Jhanvi knows he wont let anthing happen to her, but she cant say the same about her family.
Infact he gave up Satrupa for Jhanvi's well being.
Jhanvi in contrast wavered she did reject but after much hesitation. Infact throughout the episode you could see her resolve wavering.
So when veer spoke against she was so willing to believe. Very Convenient.
You will argue her family's life was at stake.
Well Daayan didn't have raja anymore & she waited 500 years . But she didn't order her son to marry Sat. Credit to her. She found another way.
The Daayan is evil, she could easily take out the truth by torturing Satrupa, so why would she want to marry her son to someone who is totally against Daayan (and may be even know Daayan's whole truth), who is his enemy Raja's dear one and trusted one? Jhanvi on other hand can't even think of torturing Satrupa!
I am glad now Jhanvi who selflessly is ready to sacrifice her life for innocent kids whom she had never even met is compared to the Daayan who has taken uncountable lives, tortured kids, kept them in exile and made them die out of thurst and hunger.
Jhanvi likewise could have found another bargaining chip. She doesn't have Daayan's powers but she is crafty. She could have used another point to negotiate.
There is no guarantee Sat would hand over Mani to Jhanvi in exchange. Akarsh can jolly well have both. In any case Jhanvi would have to come up with another way.
She knows Akarsh loves her & is just taking it for granted. Jhanvi is no less Akru
3 )Gender bender :Some in this forum objected to Akarsh slapping & dragging Jhanvi on feminist grounds. (Not saying you're not justified but using this as a point )
What do you have to say to Jhanvi agreeing to trade Akarsh for the Mani. I mean if Akarsh just sold his wife for the mani you guys would have murdered him. So it goes both ways. In this issue men & woman are equal.
Jhanvi could have kept it to breaking up with Akarsh she didn't have to make a deal with Sat for him.
Conclusionis she chose her family over him & conviently used this as an excuse to assuge her conscience. She could have atleast spared Akarsh the guilt trip & been honest herself.
Had she chosen her family over Akarsh, she would have gone away with her family and left Akarsh. Even Akarsh questioned her about it that when she had such a greta opportunity to go away from him and take awya her family why did she come back. And said I can't leave you because (I love you). AKarsh was guilty for what he did. He himself realizes he did wrong by hiding his identity, by using his bhaiya bhabhi, by taking away rimpi, and his mom was wrong in killing Jhanvi's bhabhi and that he did wrong by hiding the truth again.
In yesterday's episode she clearly was considering it but didn't have a justification.
Yes her family's life is at stake so it should come as her priority. But there was another way. There always is !
She doesn't have time to think of another way. At this point after AKarsh instead of telling her truth, he again created that mirage in jungle to fool her, she can't trust him with anything. He didn't tell her thr truth, instead he tried keeping her busy so that she doesn't go to jungle. Then when she went to jungle, he could have told the truth. Instead he again tried to lie to Jhanvi. Jhanvi got to know the truth from some thrid party that her husband is making a fool of her. ANd its not the first time. She is in a total mess right now.
She just a day before, on her birthday lost her bhabhi because of daayan in front of her eyes. Her family is living like hell in that hotel where they don't know when one of them will be killed by the daayan. SHe doesn't even have a day left. And now when even akarsh has lied to her again, she can't trust him that he will be able to save her family.
Akarsh's situation was different. He had no hurry of making his mom normal again (that is what he thinks his mom wants manni for). Initially also he told his mom to give her time to get out the truth from jhanvi about manni secret. Jhanvi has no time to save her family, especially when the daayan has warned jhanvi after killing her bhabh that everyday, one by one she would kill her family.
I have many more points but this will then turn into a full fledged FF 🤣 so refraining myself.
Jhanvi is not perfect. She has done many many mistakes and blunders. Marrying AKarsh dhoke se, tricking him into giving the laal pathar but then so has he in more ways than her. None of them in that ways is better than anyone. But what makes them different here is their intentions.
Jhanvi has more selfless intenstions. From starting, she is putting her life at stake for some kids whom she has no relation with. How many would do so? Whereas, Akarsh is supporting his mom in making lil kids suffer for "his" mom.
Just based on the precap, comparing Jhanvi to the Daayan seems little rude.
Jhanvi has done wrong by telling satrupa that Akarsh is hers but that doesn't make her that evil of a person. She is helpless. Akarsh on other hand is strong enough to deal with his issues and his life where as right now Jhanvi has totally become helpless especially when the Daayan has started attacking her family.
Akarsh and Jhanvi love each other a lot. ANd in uncoming segment, Jhanvi will go against her family to support AKarsh. Just based on a precap we can't declare her as the villian. I would still say she is a sweetheart, just helpless.
If Akarsh's action like kidnapping kids, making them shaitan, using Jhanvi's family(her sister, she commited suicide because of Daayan's torture, then her brother prithvi, her bhabhi, basically clearly all those people who were closest to Jhanvi among her family), and lieng to Jhanvi about his mom can be said to be his helplessness for not being able to choose between his mom and his wife, (which he many times chose his mom, else he would not have made a fool of his wife for so long), its Jhanvi's helplessness to save her family before the Daayan comes and kill another one of her family members. The quickest way without killing or harming anyone was asking satrupa for manni.
Initially she was thinking of some other way. And also AKarsh promised her that "woh usse ab kabhi dhokha nhi dega" and that he would save her family. But then she broke up with AKarsh because apparantly in offscreen segment it was shown, AKarsh again created the mirage in jungle, Jhanvi again bileaved him and felt bad for doubting him but then Satrupa reveals AKarsh's lie. Jhanvi is heartbroken that he lied again inspite of promising that woh usse ab kabhi dhokha nahi dega. SHe broke up with him. And as for manni, since she had broken up with Akarsh and couldn't trust Akarsh anymore for her family's life, she took the manni.
As I say I still would say, Jhanvi is little flawed character , makes mistakes, but her love for Akarsh is seen. She is a sweetheart, selfless and beautiful soul. She has been going through, risking her life, suffering all this for kids whom she doesn't even know. SHe got to know about her sister having suffered because of daayan way later. Even before that she selflessly wen against these family members to save those kids.
She loves Akarsh a lot, and she has saved him risking her life, her family's life(not once but twice). Just because after breakin up with Akarsh she took that manni from satrupa doesnt means she doesnt loves akarsh and just uses him.
I love that Jhanvi is what she is on everyone's face. She on his face told Akarsh that she would kill his mom. Not like Akarsh who fooled her all the way and secretly protecting his mom from her and helping her with kidnapping and making kids shaitan.
Jhanvi and Akarsh are too much in love with each other and the cicumstances are making them do the things they are doing but their love for each other is genuine and unreal.
