The Tashkent Files Sustain Well In Week Two

The Tashkent Files is sustaining well at the box office with second week collections likely to be more than the first week. The collections are only 6 crore nett but the achievement here has more respect than other small films. These small films only cater to a limited metro audience and for collections the media and reviewers in the bigger publications have to be on side as this segment of the audience does get influenced.

Not only small films but even bigger films aimed at metro audience know the media has to be on side so its tried to make sure it is on side. Surprisingly this film has not got those 4 or 5 star reviews or media support but is still maintaining better than the films that do get them.

The films looks like running well for a few weeks as its doing the business solely on actual word of mouth and it should maintain with even with the release of Endgame. The collections of The Tashkent Files till date are as follows.

First Week - 3,42,00,000

Friday - 45,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 70,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 90,00,000 apprx

Monday - 45,00,000 apprx

Second Week - 2,50,00,000 apprx (4 Days)

TOTAL - 5,92,00,000 apprx

Glad that the movie is doing well at the BO

It deserves all the success instead of lauding crap movies , they decided to not talk about this movie at all. This is how it works in Bollywood.

Box Office Collections: Kalank stayed low on Tuesday as 3.50 crores* came in. Though the film somehow managed to hang on during the weekend, it isn't really the case during the weekdays as the numbers are lesser than 5 crores each, something that had to be the case of it had to take a shot at the 100 crores lifetime.

Currently the film stands at 73.50 crores* and that's practically the first week collections since the film had released on Wednesday. With a couple of more days to collect with not much of a competition around, the film should gather 5-6 crores more. Post that it would still get some screens since Avengers: Endgame is arriving at select theatres. Hence, it would be interesting to see how much does it collect in the second week.

The Tashkent Files is growing further at the Box Office with every passing day. The film is now clearly a theatrical success too as second Tuesday (0.58 crores) has turned out to be bigger than the second Monday (0.46 crores). In fact these are the highest collections for the film on the weekdays and that too when it is running at a very low count of screens.

The story is repeating itself in the third week as well for the Vivek Agnihotri directed film as it has managed to collect on the third Friday as well despite all around mayhem by Avengers: Endgame.By Joginder Tuteja -April 27, 2019Box Office Updates: The Tashkent Files is chugging along in third week as well, what with 0.35 crores* more coming in. The film has been quite stable ever since release and that was evidenced in the second week numbers which were bigger than the first week. While Week One had brought in 3.50 crores, Week Two was even better with 4.22 crores been collected. What was all the more remarkable was the fact that this happened despite the release of Kalank which collected around 78 crores in its first week and still The Tashkent Files withstood that competition.

The Hollywood biggie has gone past the 50 crores mark on its first day and still The Tashkent Files has held its head high.
