Seeing Veer suffering in jail will break her completely. Veer refusing to behave normally with her will be her biggest punishment. She did not think once when she wanted to break Veer and Krishna's relationship. In all this she failed to realise she is loosing her son because of her own stupidity.

[DIV]An interesting viewpoint - I'd like to discuss this more...

I agree she's manipulative but somehow I also feel most mothers have that power. I can give you so many examples of mothers who manipulated their children one way or the other... only to have things their way...

I say her actions are guided by her heart and not her brain, I feel that if she had used her brains, she could have achieved better results than she is getting now...

I'll give you an example. When Krishna married Veer, BS was consumed by anger and hatred that he did not think things through. He planted those expired medicines to frame Veer. This was an action guided by heart. Had he used his brain, he would have covered his tracks. At the time, we assumed he is not aware of technology such as CCTV but a man who can fix alarms to ensure his prisoners don't run away... must've known about CCTV too... or so I believe. But now, when he is taking revenge for Radhay, his actions are guided by the brain and he is using his emotions - and hence he has been successful in manipulating Veer's strength - that is Krishna. He used his brain to gather enough evidence and created a situation in a way that things go as he desired...

Likewise, had Sunaina used her brain, she could've manipulated things in a way that if Veer did confess to Krishna, Krishna would've let him off the hook... and they both could've been home - free...

I know Sunaina is selfish for her kids, but then all mothers usually are. So her selfishness is something I will not comment much about.

I know she looks like an evil mom right now and we're all really pissed at her (yes, I included) but I think she has not much deviated from her character as such. She is still the same mother who is scared to lose her son. And I think she just does not trust Krishna enough - she does not trust that if Krishna knew the truth she'll forgive Veer. And this lack of trust is making her do what she is doing...

There are just so many layers to Sunaina's actions😊

I would love to read your views on this now...

Aneeqa, you always make me think! 👏 Based in what you're saying, I think that Sunaina's heart is causing her brain to take these actions. The fear in her heart for her son is forcing her brain into manipulation mode. So maybe her brain is involved, but her heart is the instigator. (How's that for a compromise? 😆 )

I loved your point about how mothers can be naturally manipulative. It's so true! But most resort to emotional blackmail, similar to what Sunaina did when she threatened to kill herself if Veer went to help the victim after causing the accident. Her actions now have gone far beyond that. She's not just emotionally blackmailing him - she's scheming and plotting to get her way. Yes, still driven by a mother's emotions, but taking things to a whole new level.

I think part of the reason many of us can no longer forgive Sunaina for her actions is how she's treating Krishna. Even during the camp track, when she tried to use Shivani to keep Veer and Krishna apart, she was also considering Krishna's welfare. She said that society would not treat Krishna well as a widow if she chose to remarry. So she seemed to care about Krishna too. But now, that care has completely disappeared. She is fully prepared to sacrifice Krishna to save her son. There is no hesitation on her part. Perhaps if the CVs had shown Sunaina struggling with that decision, a monologue where she was torn about the thought of having Krishna take the blame, I could empathize with her more. But the way she has completely, suddenly, coldly abandoned Krishna is unforgivable to me. (Although I'm sure we'll see Krishna forgiving her in no time - gotta love the mahaan ITV bahus 😕 )

Awesome replies ladies ..agree with you all...
Just to protect veer from getting punishment , she already disowned Krishna..whom she was proud of ...
I went and saw yesterday's episode...the way she was lying to Krishna abt veer left her to rot in jail and fled to London...that was a different women who dint have an ounce of concern for the girl in jail...knowing that she is innocent and lost her husband becoz of her (sunaina's) mistake ...she dint let veer help radhe back...

She chose a wrong path with no return...she will get her punishment when she watches veer in jail ...that time , she might turn to Krishna for help ...I want Krishna to refuse , when Krishna will walk away from veer's life ...watching veer breaking down wud be her punishment ...that wud be enuf ...

Thank you, Thabu!! In all the excitement of these episodes, I didn't even notice my rank change 😆

I hope Krishna refuses to help her too. Not out of cruelty, but out of a desire for justice. But who knows, ITV likes to have their FLs be mahaan. Yet KCL does seem to surprise us from time to time...
