Male chauvinism

I am a doctor and yesterday when i went to work one of the sisters looked so disturbed..so i asked her what happened.. She said she had a fight with her husband(she is just 21)..The issue was she got salary the day before yesterday.. So she purchased a pair of earings.. Husband didnt like that she bought something without his permission.. He scolded het a lot. The jweller was her freinds boyfriend.. Her husband called this guy and scolded him too.. He has asked her to give back the ear ring she purchased and come back home with the money.. She was ashamed to face the jweller hence upset.. All this while she was talking like she did a mistake.. And all the other sisters who were listening to this story were also like you should not have bought it without husbands permission..while i was fuming.

The same day another thing happened..one of the sisters(she issw also just 21)was resigning from job and all other sisters were like we need a treat.. But she said she couldn't give them treat because her husband denied.. These 2 incidents upset me a lot.. So when i went to my friends house in the evening i shared it with my friend and her mom..They were persuing me for marriage and i was like see men are like this, then why should i marry.. Her mother also shared me an incident.. My friends mother is a government employee..Once when my friend was a little girl, her mom took her and went to live with her grandma for a few days(of course with her her husband and inlaws permission).On returning back, she brought a dress for her daughter(with her own money). After coming back to husbands hose, husband was not talking to her and she could not understand the reason.. But later she realised husband is upset because she bought a dress for their daughter without asking him.

These 3 incidents were disturbing me a lot and when i watched todays episode i got so upset over veer. Why is he forcing his decision on her and it was clearly visible mishti is not happy with his decision.. And is he the one behind mishtis decision of not working after marriage.. Even if mishti took that decision alone, why isnt he telling her "mishti you dont have to do it." May be i am over reacting incase of Veer, but all the past incidents i have come across has made me a bit touchy over this topic.

Mishti should have but she didnt.. I waiting for the day mishti opens her mouth.. I want to see how veer will react
