Simple. Today backing works majorly in favour of actors. Unlike previous times when talent also mattered! She doesn't have backing of big names. like KJo.Even after that she is doing good.

The Farhan episode badly affected her career and image amongst her male fans but now that shes dumped her buddha BF shes back on track again

She has some promising projects, and she might rise up the ladder again if those movies do well

General public doesn't know about Farhan and I don't think she will rise. It's been 5-6 years since Aashiqui-2 her peak is over for sure

General public does watch TV and on TV Filmy gossip shows they would have shown her with Farhan and reported all the gossip so its not like only ppl on BWF know abt such gossip of who is dating whom 😆

If KJo Tabahi sabotages her she wont be able to do much, but I think her dance movie with Varun will do well, if Stree has a sequel that might do well and of course Saaho with South superstar Prabhas is coming up, so she is still in the game
