Ranveer and Deepika spotted at a restaurant today

The Singham of Bollywood Ajay Devgn turns 49 today. The actor with intense eyes has given us some memorable and finest performances in his career spanning over two-and-a-half decades. Apart from acting, Ajay also tried his hand at direction, as well as production. Till now the actor has bagged two National awards and 3 Filmfare awards for his extraordinary performances. In 2016, Ajay Devgn was also honoured with the Padmashri Award (fourth highest civilian honour) by the Government of India.
On his birthday, we list five of his performances, which prove that he can easily slip into any character and bring out an unforgettable performance. So let's check them out:
Tarang Bharadwaj Deewangee

Ajay Devgn's complex acting in Deewangee is easily one of his finest performances till date. His split personality in the film will truly blow your mind. His transformation from the scared and shy Tarang to the raw and fierce Ranjit will impress you to the core. The actor also bagged a Filmfare Award for the Best Actor in a Negative role category, for this film.
Vanraj Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Though Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was primarily a Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film, it was Ajay Devgn's character, Vanraj, which made this film what it is. His role as a kind-hearted person, who decides to reunite his wife with her lover will definitely make a place in your heart.
Gopal Golmaal Franchise
Known for his serious and action-packed roles, Ajay Devgn surprised us with his bang on comic timing in Rohit Shetty's Golmaal. The way he portrayed Gopal in Golmaal on screen, didn't make it seem like he is new to the comedy genre.
Bajirao Singham Singham

The character of an honest yet fierce police officer was played magnificently by Ajay Devgn on the big screen. His class act and brilliant action sequences make this film a must watch for all the masala movie lovers.
Sultan Mirza Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai

Ajay Devgn's portrayal of gangster Sultan Mirza in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai became a rage among movie buffs. Right from his gestures and walking style to his dialogue delivery, it looked like he was born to play the character. His dialogues like Duaa mein yaad rakhna' and Jab dost banake kaam ho sakta hai ... toh phir dushman kyun banaye?' are still fresh in our mind.
