I didn't like what Bela Chachi said

"Honeymoon pe ladkio ko kuch karna parta hai. Pati ko khush karne ke liye". We all know what she meant by "kuch". But isn't she the one who was wearing a nighty for her husband and blushing. But the way she said like pictures only for Sameer. Why did she say that? This is a type of thing that both of the spouses should want. Not the wife is doing just for the husband's pleasure. I know this show is about 90s and lot of things as shown as they were at that time. I always say to myself that this is not how it is this is how it was. But I really can't accept this type of thought. What do you guys think??

Yup I don't like it either...age old Patriarchal mentality

This is the idea of Bella chachi as chacha doesn't do anything.
But this was not the common case of that time or this time too. It depends on the mentality of the partner. Sometimes man does it, some times woman does it. HM is for both hubby and wife...so this is not a competition where one loses and another wins. Bella chachi shared her experience only.
We saw what what Naina did to make Sameer khush.
She washed his dresses( I think this will make a huge drama) and ...make him study...spoiled the dinner by wearing wrong shoes...ate chakli without offering him a piece...and next more surprises are left for Sameer in refrigerator... 😆...still no progress in romance. 😆😆
