"Geet, She heard a familiar voice and turned around to find her friend staring at her. "Naina, She said. "So it is you...how have you been, Naina smiled. "I..I'm fine, She said nervously looking around to see if Maan was around. "Are you here on a vacation...with your hus..., before Naina could complete her question she heard a voice that wasn't of Daksh. "Geet...there you are ..I have been looking for you, Maan said. Naina eyed Geet and the man she was standing with. "Geet, can I have a moment please, Naina said. Geet nodded and Naina dragged her in a corner. "What's going on Geet...who is he ...are you dating him, She asked. "I...I met him in a pub and it ...just that we started to know each other...he is a nice person, Geet said nervously. "Does he know about your marriage, She asked sternly. "Umm...I ..I will tell him, She said. "Geet, just an advise as I'm your friend...Daksh is not a man who will take infidelity lightly...so you should better think about all this, She said. "Naina, I know I'm wrong but with him I can be free ...with Daksh ...I still feel hostility, Geet confessed. "Geet...if you are happy then I will pray for your happiness, She smiled inwardly just hoping her friend to be safe from the clutches of her husband as knew what kind of a man he exactly was.
"Your friend, Maan asked once she was back. "Yes, She answered. "Anything the matter, He asked. "N..nothing, well Maan what will you do if someone lied to you, She asked nervously. "I can destroy that person, He said coldly.
She looked up to see his serious face and so cold eyes ...she was for the first time terrified by his looks. "Even if it is yourself or someone close to you, She asked. "I can do anything even destroy myself, He said. "And if that person has hidden something because of a reason will you not even listen to them, She asked.
"I will give them a chance to explain themselves, He said. "Alright, She said not wanting to question him further. She understood why her brother was worried for her...he is not Daksh but many times dangerous than him is what she concluded.
"Why are you asking me all this, He asked his features softening. "I..I wanted to tell you..., She said but was stopped by him.
"But one thing which I will hate more than anything is your sadness...I like to see you smiling Geet. And if anything is bothering you even if it will be a lie or you hiding something I am not interested in hearing it. We can talk about your every fear when you are comfortable with it. I will be devastated the moment I see fear in your eyes that too because of me...please don't be scared Geet...you are the only person I will forgive even if you kill me, He smiled. Geet was shocked to hear his confession...he trusts her so much, now making her feel more guilty. Maan was in the same boat as hers...he has started to love her more than his own life...her happiness made him happy her sadness made him anxious and her fearful eyes devastated him...he never thought he will have a weakness but now it was her only her and he will do anything to protect her even if she hates him after knowing the truth.
"Thank you for trusting me,She said. "And I'm happy that you trust me too, He smiled. They went ahead to explore the city. They came across a beautiful garden filled with fireflies. They stopped by to take in the view. "It has been 6 months and still I feel like it was just yesterday that we met, Maan said. "Yes and this takes me back to our first meeting, Geet smiled. "Care for a dance, Maan said. "Sure, She smiled.
They danced with the beauty of the night surrounding them. Geet still had Naina's warning at the back of her mind but right now she just wanted to forget it. Same was the situation with Maan, he came here on the pretext of work but he wanted to collected proofs so he can get rid of Shaina. They told him that they will send him the proofs in a month or two. They were lost in thoughts when the drops of water disturbed their thoughts and they looked up to see it was raining now.
"It is raining, lets take shelter, Maan said. "I love rains, don't you, Geet smiled.
"Ah...I..I don't y..you see it will make you fall sick, He said only to hear her giggle.
"So Maan you are scared of rains. It won't make you fall sick...come now let us dance, She giggled. "The only thing that scares me is you falling sick and seeing you unhappy, how could I deny when you are so happy",He said. He didn't wanted to but he couldn't deny when he looked at her happy face.

In a moment their world turned and it lead to a point of no turning back.
Another side, a man sipped his drink looking at a lady who was trying to accompany him. "It seems you are not interested, He heard another man sitting beside him who pulled a lady towards himself. "I'm married, He replied. "So am I, The other man replied still flirting with the lady with him. "And if your wife finds out, Daksh asked now turning to the man sitting beside him. "I know how to keep her under control, He said bossily making the lady sit on his lap. "A wife beater, Daksh thought. "So you hit her, He asked. "Well that is what should be done don't you think or else they try to interfere a lot...and now if you will excuse me, I won't like the woman here waiting, He winked taking the lady to another side.
Daksh smirked and pulled the lady to himself, he had done this many times without the knowledge of Geet and if he was caught like he was once by her friend Naina he threatened her to keep it to herself. As for Geet, he knew she will never go against him. "Got a private space, He smirked taking the lady with him.
