Mummyji is on the phone setting a date for Keeya and Akshay's wedding, she genuinely sounds happy and excited. Just as she gets of the phone Akshay walks in. "Abhi Abhi meri pandit ji se baat ho rahi thi, tumhari or Keeya ke date fix karne ke liye...kitni lucky hoon mein ke mujhe tumhare jaise son-in-law mila" They both look happy. Akshay asks if its ok if there is an engagement party and an official announcement. Mummyji likes the idea. He says I will only invite a couple of people. And she says invite whoever u want, we are your family now. He says "Thank you Aunty (She says "Huh?")… Mummy (She laughs in approval)" She says that since my husband isn't here, Sana and Angad will do all the ceremonies for Keeya. And then she says "Jiji aur Sali ke siva ik aur rishta bhi hai Angad aur Keeya ka… Best Friends ka" (Both laugh after slight tension… the situation is pretty comedic unlike the usual one with mummyji). Keeya walks in and mummyji tells her to go ahead and sit and talk and that she will go finish her work. He says "To chale shopping" She says "shopping kyun" He says "Iraada badal diya hai to abhi bolo shaadi ke baad chorunga nahin…" He then explains to her about the engagement party. He says so I thought I'd take u shopping but u don't wanna go. She says "O I didn't know, theek hai, shopping chalte hai". Again Akshay starts on how much he loves her and her family (Dude, I think he would literally die if he found out that Keeya loved Angad… He's so sweet, I hope Keeya actually gets married to Akshay). Then he tells her "Guess tumhara kanyadaan kaun kar rhaa hai? Tumhara Best Friend… Angad." Keeya freaks out. All the bad times come back. Her eyes swell with tears but she holds them in.
A guy comes and he gets Angad to sign a 3 film deal with him and Sana. Mummyji walks in and thanks Angad for forgiving Sana. Mummyji then asks for Sana who we find out went to a photo shoot. Mummyji then says shes happy she heard two good news this morning: 1) The film deal signing 2) Akshay and Keeya giving a grand engagement party. Angad feels bad. Then mom tells Angad to call Sana and tell her the good news because she will feel the most happiness. He calls sana and tells her. She gets happy. He says but how much do we really know him. Don't you think its sudden? Sana tries to reason with him. Sana says I know she's your best friend "Par uske sara decisions hum to nahin le sakte na". She then talks to her Mummyji and says that tell Keeya to wait, my photo shoot ended and I want to meet her right away. Sana, Mummyji, and Mom are all excited, but Angad is mad (Its like 'mere yaar ki shaadi hai' except the yaar realized his love after his marriage was over). Sana hangs up. Mummyji tells them that Keeya loves Akshay a lot and vice versa. Angad feels sad and mad. And mummyji tells him "maine Akshay ko keh diya hai ke kanyadaan tum hi karoge, Angad." Angad freaks out silently. She asks him if he will do it… like he has a choice. He agrees choice less. Mummyji says "kitni khush naseeb hu main, ek damad superstar aur ek sportstar". (She seems to only like the wealthy… kinda disgusting).
Angad is in his room. He feels everything is slipping from his hands and he's confused at what he should do. He says he will have to make Keeya understand that with her decision 4 lives will be ruined. (Actually ur the one who ruined all 4… Keeya didn't… ur the one who's married and that to her sister). He basically blames her for everything, even though he does mention he knows its not easy.
Anjali is talking to Keeya about engagement clothes, Keeya says I'll think about it and then let you know which one I will wear. Just then Angad calls. Keeya hesitantly picks up the phone. He says he wants to meet her and she tells him "Angad please, mujhe tumse nahin milna hai". Keeya hangs up or so she thinks. She then says ok Anjali I'll tell you when I choose. Anjali says you made the right choice. Keeya says I think everyone while be happy now except me and Angad. Anjali says "Keeya tum such much Angad se bohot pyar karti ho na." All the while Angad is listening over the phone. She says "Han Anjali. Is sachai ka samna karte karte khud kabhi darr lagta hai". Angad realizes Keeya really does love him. She says that I love him and no one else but its also true that our destiny has put us with different people. Angad is listening with tears swelling in his eyes. She says I wish I could change it. "Akhir wahi hota hai, jo hona hota hai, hamare chahana na chahane se koi fadak nahi padta… And you know maine is such ko pichle kuch dino mein bar bar mehsoos kiya hai". She says I feel so bad that I even thought about him. Sana is my sister, "How Can I betray her ?" She says I know Angad, he can never hurt anyone. "Magar kabhi kabhi mein sochti hun ke hum dono ko pyar ka ehsaas pehle ho jata to, Toh hamari zindagi kitni alag hoti na?" Angad feels bad. Tum se hi plays fast but softly in the background. She says I'm sorry I know that I shouldn't be thinking this and I know there is no more space for these things in our lives anymore. She says and in life the tiems we were supposed to spend together, we spent them to the fullest, as friends. Now its time for our road to separate. "aj ke baad aisi koi baat nahi hogi". "It's only going to be me and Angad… sorry… mera matlab tha… me and… Akshay." Angad hangs up the phone confused. Keeya and Anjali smile at each other with strength.
At night time Angad has an interview. When they ask about the wedding of Akshay and Keeya, he denies it. He says I don't think Akshay is the right guy for Keeya and he leaves.
Meanwhile, Neha and Akshay make wedding/ engagement invitations. Theyre arguing as usual. Lol… Akshay gets a call and his friend tells him to turn on the tv. He sees what Angad said and so do Keeya and Anjali at her house. They are all in shock. Akshay calls Keeya and asks her what this all means. Keeya really doesn't know. Akshay is kinda irked at Keeya and obviously Angad. Akshay asks if Keeya needs more time, she gets scared and tries to answer. Akshay demands a quick yes or no. Anjali gives Keeya empowering and comforting looks. Keeya then replies that she does NOT need more time. He says ok. They hang up.
Sana comes into the room and frustrated but calmly asks Angad why he said that about Keeya and Akshay in the media. She scolds him and says you're her best friend but there are limits "iska matlab ye nahin ke tum uske sare decisions lo... aur besides tumhara problem kya hai , tum Keeya ke life mein itna interfere kyun kar rahe ho? Bahar Akshay aya hua hai… main use mafi mangne ja rahi hoon. Please make an effort and please come out and meet him." She leaves. He calls her back. Sana tries to apologize to Akshay when Angad comes out. Sana leaves. They have an angry eye lock. Akshay walks toward Angad and asks "tumhe kya lagta hai… mein Keeya ke like nahin hoon?"
