Marvel shows Box Office dominance again.

Captain Marvel had an excellent opening as it took the best opening of the year at around 45-50%. There have been two good openings this year with Total Dhamaal and Gully Boy (due to Valentines Day) but it is Hollywood which has shown the way again with a film which has actually got the crowd to come in on the first morning across the country.


The collections may not reach the levels of Gully Boy or Total Dhamaal but that is because it has been released on far lesser screens but the occupancy is better. Both the Hindi releases were well over 3000 while this film is just 1900 screens.


The film is sure to have a huge weekend and may well be the biggest ever outside Avengers - Infinity War for Hollywood releases in India.

Imagine if Marvel includes an Indian superhero in their movie.
It will crush every other movie😆

just a glimpse of what endgame opening wud #CaptainMarvel goes on an overdrive... Believe it or faint, but the opening day collections will be around the Rs 15 crore range (NETT) in India. A little higher or lower depending on how non-national-chains have fared but PVR, Inox, Carnival and Cinepolis are on FIREbe

If this is only because of the post credit scene which includes a direct tieup to Avengers 4, can't imagine what will be the opening of Endgame. This is f**king insane!!!

Thats the way marvel does it. Cant wait for avengers 4.Its gonna break the box office.
