Part 38

Days started passing , ishra were now leading their life happily with somuch love and care . Their life was full of happiness by doing well in job and living around a happy family. Ruhi was the happiest soul as now she was getting full love and attention of her both the parents and they too shower their love unconditionally to her as if they were compensating for those past six years which she has lived alone .

Slowly a year passed and ishita was too happy in her life with Ruman ,though Raman too was contended with his life but he was not happy with something.Ishita has filled his life with happiness and she looks happy too but he never forget that she has a disability in her which he had promised to get over it. Yeah he never forget that he had promised to give her own baby to ishita, her own blood and flesh . He often wanted to talk to ishita ,to visit some infertility expert but always stopped as he don't wanted to make her upset . She use to always smile widely whenever she is around her family and he don't wanted to fade her smile ,so he always thought that there will be some suitable time to talk about this all to her and he was waiting for that exact time .

One evening when Raman returned back from office ,he found the house was all silent, he called for everybody but non showed up except ishita . She walked out of their room and spoke
" You go and change ,I will bring your tea in room itself ".

R- ok .

Saying so he walked towards their room , ishita made tea for themselves and walked to the room . Raman has just freshened up and changed into his house cloths when ishita showed up ,he saw her entering though the mirror and asked " where is everyone ".

I- there was a party over mummyji's kitty friend's place, so they all went there .

R- mostly we all are family friends and we all are invited at any parties like this ,its strange that they had called only ma and papa .

I- no actually we were also invited but I didn't go.

R- why ? Are you unwell ? What happened Tell me ?.

I- nothing like this happened ,it was a baby shower party and I was not very comfortable going in it ,so I didn't go .

Raman looked at her ,he can she the sadness in her eyes though she was trying to hide it . He pulled her closer and make her sit in his lap , he cupped her face and made her look at him , she gave him a look then lowered her eyes while he pulled her face closer and kissed her temple . She just rested her head on his chest but didn't said anything , he thought to talk to her but waited for sometimes . She remained in his embrace for much time when Raman broke the silence and spoke " ishita I had thought something ".

She moved away from him and asked " what ".

R- we can talk while having tea .

I- humm .

Saying so she poured his tea and passed to him then looked at him for answer when he said "it's a year since we got married, ruhi is also growing and now I think we are ready for baby ."

Ishita got confused as well as hurt listening to him , she got up and was going away from him when he held her hand and spoke " ishita ,I know you must be thinking that I m being ridiculous but listen to me first ".

She turned and looked at him with questioning eyes while he said " I wanted you to start the treatment ".

I- what treatment Raman ,I m infertile and it can't be changed by medication .

R- I agree you are a doctor but I will like to remind you are a dentist not gynaecologist, so it will be better if we consult one.

I- whatsthe needs we already know the results then why to go through something unfruitful.

R- ok tell me had you got treated earlier for it ?

I- no .

R- had you tried for baby before us ?

She glared him and spoke " yeah but to adopt not to deliver ".

Raman laughed listening to her and spoke cupping her face " I know ishita ,going through these treatment is not easy ,may be it will not be painful physically but it will hurt you emotionally. "

I(almost crying )- if you know everything then why?

R- because I want your happiness . Getting a baby is not any problem, we can have baby through many artificial methods but before that I want to try normally, may be matarani will grace us with her blessing . Ishita trust me ,I want to give you the happiness of carrying and feeling a baby in you ,so we have to try . Isn't it ?

Ishita looked confused ,she made a thinking face and spoke looking to him " what if it didn't worked ".?

R- no worries ,I m happy with my Angel's, or if you want we can go for further options, like surrogacy ,test tube baby or adoption .

Ishita didn't answered and started thinking ,he kept his hand over her and spoke pressing it to make her believe him " you need not to answer me now ,you think about it and we will visit the doctor once you get fully convinced for it ."

Ishita nodded and started sipping her tea , they didn't talk further aa ishita was thinking while Raman has left her to think about his proposal . Two three days passed , ishita finally had decided that she is now ready and want to go for treatment, she informed same to Raman . He got happy and fixed the appointment with the doctor for next day .

Next day ,ishita took all her reports and ishra went to see the doctor ,he checked ishita and then looked at her report , he even get some more tests of her and told them to come back after a week . Ishra nodded and left . It was night , Raman was doing his work in laptop while ishita was also reading a patient file ,ruhi was sleeping beside her . In between his work, Raman lifted his eyes to look at ishita , to check what she is doing and found her lost in her thoughts . Raman didn't said anything and got back to his work but in between he was checking her.He noticed that she was probably bothered about something. Raman completed his work ,as soon as possible and joined ishita in the bed . He settled beside ishita and asked
" whose file is this ".

As ishita was all lost in herself ,she didn't register his question and asked all lost " haan? Did you asked something ?.

R- yeah , was just asking, are you dealing with some complicate patient.

I- no ,its case file of one patient of Dr Batra's whom have to treat tomm ,as he is out of station .

R- ohh , I see . Is it complicated?

I- no , why did you asked ?

R- I m noticing you reading this file from last forty five minutes but still you hadn't completed it ,that's why .

I- wo Raman ,actually I was not giving attention in it that's why .

R- that's what I wanna ask ,where are you lost ? Is something wrong?

I- no, actually I was thinking about the reports and my treatment .

Raman encircled his arms around ishita and pulled her closer ,he made her rest her head on his shoulder and spoke " ishita I know it's not easy for you , but I want you to keep your mind away from it . We know that the report will not be favourable, so let it be like that ,why to waste our time and energy on it . Ishita don't think or I say don't expect much from this treatment, so when something good will happen ,we can rejoy it ."

I- aise kaise na sochoon main Raman ,its a big thing .

R- just like you were not thinking about it earlier .

I- but that time we hadn't visited the doctor .

R- I agree but it's just the started, ishita jaan please don't think much about it .

I- even I don't want to think about it but I m kind of excited and nervous at the same time.

R- i think i have other ways to divert your mind .

He spoke smirking ,she narrowed her eyes and asked " and what is it exactly ".

R- I can say you are going on right track sweety .

I- Raman ruhi is here only .

She spoke blushing hard , he smiled and turned ruhi's face to other side and covered themselves with other blanket ,soon they were lost in loving eachother .

A week passed , today ishra were going to visit doctor . Ishita was being nervous while Raman was holding her hand all the time to console her . Finally they reached the hospital and were called to see the doctor .She passed ishita reports to them and spoke " I had studied your report Mrs bhalla and it's quite positive. Though there are some complications but you can surely conceive and deliver a baby . "

Ishra got overwhelmed listening to this , while doctor said" but before that you have to go through a medication ."

The doctor prescribed medicine to ishita and they left the doctor's cabin , ishita was too happy to form any word while Raman hugged her tightly and let her rejoy.He teared her from himself, after sometimes and spoke wiping her tears " don't cry ishita ,its just the starting ,now you are yet to get most lovely news of your life ."

Ishita hugged him back and said " thankyou somuch Raman ,you are the best thing happened to me, you had brought all the happiness . I so love you ".

R- love you back sweetheart .

He declared smiling fully and both walked towards their car .
