Soojit is a good director but what happened to The biopic on Rakesh Sharma? Wasn't he finalized for that one?

Wow Vicky on a roll. Saare Jahaan se accha and Udham singh too now, good going for him. It helps that KJo likes him, until Lust Stories and Sanju he wasn't as noticed.

Directors are getting good actors.Actors are getting good scripts and directors..

An actor like Sushant will keep getting films in spite of people (read YRF) trying to sabotage all his films.Chichhore next.

Everyone in politics doesnt become the prime minister.Nor does every businessman want to overthrow Ambani.

My point is, it is a great time for medium budget films,directors and actors.

Shoojit wanted to make this with Irrfan Khan:

Elaborating on why he had to replace Irrfan, Shoojit said in a statement, "Irrfan and I have had a discussion on this. He is recovering well and is in a good mood. He wants to start work on films but for now, he would like to do a film that does not require the kind of strenuous physical action that this film would. He told me to move on since we have waited for long on this film. He and I are in touch and we are working on something else together.

No way he's gonna reject Ronnie Screwvala's project. He is the one who made Vicky Kaushal. Either they dropped him coz Ranbir is lobbying (Won't be surprised if Kjo joins as a coproducer) or he was never approached for SJSA.
