I have a feeling AJ is starting to realize that Guddan cares about him as a wife would. In the previous episode when he saw the sadness in her eyes and asked her not to cry it was obvious that he noticed a shift in her feelings for him, even though he may not be able to put his finger on it yet.

On some subconscious level it makes him uncomfortable because he is afraid she willfall in love with him and knows there is nothing wrong with it. Except he can't or won't reciprocate because of his devotion to Antra.

Even I am thinking the same
