Am I the only one who finds this whole track of getting Anupriya married seems so bizarre?

As a 21st century girl, I expected Kalyani to say that a man is not the only reason for a woman to live. In fact, after everything that her husband put her through, Anupriya should become independent and live her life with her head held high. Together, Kalyani & Anupriya should show every man who thinks low of his wife that women don't need men but it's men who need women more!

Kalyani has defied narrow-minded mentality till now by acknowledging the wrong-doings of her father, supporting Anupriya, & encouraging her to complete her education & face the world with confidence. So I don't understand how come she is the one to vow to get her Aai married?

As for the marital bliss that Anupriya missed out on and the loneliness she faces everyday, it won't be easy for Anupriya to trust another man so why not focus on giving her the confidence to stand on her own two feet first & then go ahead and find a suitor for her?

Just my views!

+1 just what i was thinking.it should be her decision . First she should be independent. In the course of time she likes someone then it is ok
It is perfectly ok to be happily single

I agree with what you said.
Off topic - Your thread title reminded me of Sonali's upcoming show Shaadi Ke Siyape.😆

I agree what you said
But life is really cruel toward anupriya
She also deserve to be happy
I knw single ho kar bhi happy raha jaa sakta han but
Every one need some one to share their happiness and sadness
Aur life mein koi kisi ke jaga nhi le sakta sab ke apne ek imp place hote han
Aur sab Atul jaise thoo nhi hote han
Na its fact
Society ke sath jaoge your normal agar nhi jao tho sab abnormal bolege
Aur logo ko muh chahiye bolne ke liye
I agree makers anupriya ko phele independent dekha thee then ye track laa thee if u compare first wali anupriya and current anupriya thoo zameen aur asman ke fark
Phele wale darti thi new anu b darti han but right ke liye ab wo stand lene lage han

Although it looks like Kalyani is driven by emotion currently, hence might look for suitors for AP right away, but that will fizzle out I think, either by reasoning by AP or MR. Eventually it might be the new entry and AP falling for each other slowly, either by circumstances or by developing mutual interest for each other. I hope the writers create and nurture the plot effectively as they did for Kalma. I want both Kalma and AP's relationship tracks to grow parallely, of course the difference between the two relationships could be brought out beautifully. This show has that potential, great writers and stunning cast. Hope they don't get mundane soon.

I do agree with you... But it's a show more than anything I happy she is not getting married to atul again . After today humiliation Anupriya brought mangalsutra and sindoor in precap so she can stop people questions.. It's a drastic step taken by her so I can see why kalyani thought about anupriya remarriage. And moreover I will be happy if anupriya husband stood beside her through thick and thin and support her.

Hell no!!! It's promos fault😆 they always show utpatang promos I have noticed...new guy will be introduced and he will support Anu then I think Kalyani will realise that her mother also deserves the happiness as a matter of fact...there will a time in their life when Kalyani might be not available for Anu

Whole world is of false assumption that marriage and life partner are the most important.

No one tries to understand marriage is just part of life and spouse is yet other relationship in your life like everyone else Mom, Dad, sisters, kids and so on..

Anupriya got a special person in her life, her daughter Kalyani who she has rely on when required

I am a divorcee, high independent and well earning women still everyone tries to advise to get married

Kalyani is kid and feels guilty because of her biological parents, she is just acting as a stubborn kid. She is just 18 cut her some slacks.

She is just thinking that Anupriya haven't got husband's love. See she even forgot that as of now she and Anupriya are in same situation more or less. Difference is she has Moksh from Day 1 whereas Anupriya got Kalyani after 18 years. Malhar is not Atul but still he is not loving husband from day 1 too.

Anupriya and Malhar eventually make her understand

Kalyani's basic idea is to let her Aayi have a companion in life with whom she can share her everything with. Marriage is never about independence or individuality. Its about being a team. A companion in times of need. It's not just about sharing a roof, but also sharing all the emotion and responsibility. It's about being together, for each other.
If Anupriya doesn't want to marry, she should not marry. But Kalyani has been the only person who has fought so hard for her Aayi's independence and self-respect. She is still doing so by stopping her from wearing a mangalsutra tgat holds ZERO value in actuality.

The track is heading towards giving Anupriya a companion for the times when she falls weak, when she cannot fight for herself and when she eventually grows old.
