i have the opposite view about it, kjo seems to be the one who has started this whole rk and alia thing for brahmastra, kjo is constantly mentioning on kwk that alia and rk are dating, he had a whole segment on alia's episode showing her pics of her and rk, the whole episode was about establishing that her and rk are dating

Isnt it KJo who was constantly harping on RK Alia having a relationship when they didnt even declare it anywhere ? RK's apathetic display of the whole thing might be something KJo might not have anticipated. But kutte ke dum hamesha tedhi hi rehti hai, he should've known better about that. Now there's no point of sulking for giving away his adopted beti to this scum of a man. Alia is the kind of person who came to KJo to complain about even Zoya, of course she will come and complain all the issues she is having with RK provided KJo is even the biggest relationship advisors to these bunch. So of course knowing how troubled Alia is, KJo being a human cannot be OTT about it.
