I feel that Angoothi ka Jinn's entire powers lies in his ponytail and once it's cut he will lose his powers and become a normal human.
Reason for my feel is :
He keeps playing with his ponytail and always they show that magic light on his ponytail , so I guess his powers lies there and this is how Aladdin will finish him.
Cut off his ponytail.
