What's wrong with a massage parlor?

I don't get it. Why is a woman running a massage parlor such a disgraceful thing? I didn't get it when I watched Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, and I don't get it now. In fact, if anything, I would think it is a proud moment for any women when she can say that she is not dependent on her husband's income, and has created a successful business empire on her own (even though none of this true in Kanya's case 😆). So, can somebody explain? Am I just being an NRI-CD (confused desi), or do you guys agree that there is nothing wrong/weird about running a massage parlor? Also, why would anybody be running it at night? Help--I am going to start doing a Ranbir crazy dance if I don't get a response...lol.

What I don't get is why the family was angry even before finding out about the girls being tortured? Do you guys remember how the mom said she would throw Kanya out if the news was to be true--the police officer hadn't even come into the picture yet.

ummm, guyz the thing is that its not a massage palour but a "massage palour" with emphasis the quotes, which is sort of a code for brothel in certain parts of india 😕 where u don't refer openly to such stuff, its just that kanya herself was too innocent to realise the true meaning 😆
