I feel it's a great step indeed. I've yet to see the movie for myself but I like the intent of the makers.

By making a classic Bollwood movie they wanted people to see that a love story is a love story period. We don't have to care about people's gender. Kudos to them and so the appreciation the team is getting is well-deserved.

Hope it's only the first step of many more movies in which LGBTQ people are rightly pictured and represented.
