Firstly, the idea of this remake should be revoked.

Secondly, I had said the same. Ranbir is a poor choice for any of the two roles.

As soon as I read Andaz Apna Apna and started thinking about actors who'd fit the bill, Vicky Kaushal came to mind.

He can do any character with ease and it shows.
