THE PR rep of this well-known actor called up recently to inform us that his client was so moved by the simplicity of a remote village that he was shooting in that he donated all the gym equipment he brought in from Mumbai to the villagers. Your sceptical diarist called the hotel the actor was staying at to cross-check. The hotel's owner told us the actor had actually sold his old equipment to the hotel. Oh well...

He was in a hotel.. there was an article about how someone from crew died in some accident.

Well , it's a guess.. And bringing gym equipment is not THAT expensive:you hire a van.. that's it.

And it could be him or another... I just guessed maybe it's him.. I even added a question mark.

Much ado about nothing. The Deccan Chronicle article published September 2018 says the hotel bought the equipment. Mumbai Mirror article published Yesterday hasn't "revealed " anything.
