*Teaser*
"Malharrr" Kalyani ran to Malhar excited as a kid with an ice cream.
Malhar smiled as his wife engulfed him a bone crushing hug he didn't know much about her karate skills but her hugs sure could break a few bones.
"Are you trying to break my bones" Malhar teased Kalyani, who in return huffed muttering something about finding someone who'll appreciate her hugs.
Malhar being the overly imaginative one pictured her hugging a random guy making him jealous of this guy who was a fraction of his imagination. Frustrated by his own thoughts Malhar pulled Kalyani to himself.
"Look my gift arrived" Kalyani moved her wrist revealing the charm bracelet.
"Come with me" She said dragging him to the bed making him sit and settling herself comfortably on his lap.
"They say that every charm has a meaning how tell me what they mean" Kalyani asked curiously.
"Don't flatter yourself too much. They don't mean anything" Malhar lied not wanting to admit that he spent more than a week trying to figure out 10 meaningful charms, it was suppose to be the way he confessed until what happened at college in the morning.
Kalyani just stuck her tounge out in return to which Malhar laughed away at how childish his wife was.
"You're getting heavier by the day Kalyani now get up before I end up losing both my legs" Malhar continued to annoy her.
"You'll know my worth someday when I'm not around" Kalyani mocked hurt and left the room.
All Malhar could think of was the conversation he overheard at college when we went to drop Kalyani.
*Flashback*
"Kalyani is a kid herself it's sad how she's married to a man way older than she is and has to not only look after him but also his baby" A girl whispered to her friend.
"True that she used to always talk to me about how she wished to have the perfect wedding, travel around the world with her man..." Malhar zoned out halfway through the conversation.
How selfish was he to wish Kalyani stayed by him forever. She was young and adventurous. She had a full life ahead of her until he forcefully married her. She deserved to be free and live her dreams not tied into a forced relationship.Even after the truth revelation she stuck by him maybe she didn't know how to tell him that it's time she left his life. He's burdened her with a child. His child meant his responsibility.
He had to do something. He had to let her go even if it felt like losing a part of him. This time he wouldn't be selfish. It was time he gave Kalyani what she deserved. Freedom.
I know the story line seems a little boring but the shipper within me really wanted to write an OS ðŸ˜
Do tell me if there's any scene you'll like me to add on the actual one shot as the story progresses😳
