Lakshmi's pronunciation

I don't know, if it's deliberate, but, I have noticed that sometimes, she pronounces words like she's speaking a dialect or simply, like a not very educated person would speak. Like, yesterday, she pronounced, 'competition' as 'kaampetition'. And, I have observed this a few times before too and it sounds a bit weird and funny from her mouth as she's such a big khandaan's bahu and young, so she must be well educated and everything, but, I don't know, she sort of comes off as 'less educated'. I feel, it's completely intentional, but, why would CVs do that? Probably, she doesn't come from a very well-off family, which might be revealed later (maybe with the adoption of sons track) or just for comedy? Though, the latter doesn't make much sense.
I don't know, if anyone else even noticed or ever felt that way, but, I just found it a bit weird.šŸ˜•

Yes had noticed thank you as thankoo and one more which I don't remember šŸ˜†
May be to add to the fun aspect of the show ... her accent is as such šŸ˜†

I agree with you
I feel she belongs to a very traditional but rich family.
I mean she knows about household works very well but may be she isn't educated much as either she is too dumb acadamically & also she doesn't look like someone who would be interested in education.

Yeah, the 'thankoo' one! I remember, I rewound that scene 3-4 times to make sure, she actually spoke it like that šŸ˜†

Ya, her overall demeanor is such that. The way she uses her pet phrase, 'haye haye saru'! She's the official comic character of the show.

To me it looks like dialect problem!!! Education factor also matters😊 but her "hay hay saru" is cute and funnyšŸ˜†

In the initial epis also she had said 2-3 times "woh Angrezi mein kya kehte hai?" while speaking, and little off-pronunciations like that šŸ˜›

I guess CVs wanted her to come off as a bit uneducated, but then forgot to maintain the stance so reminded us again via her "kaampitition" šŸ˜†

I feel she's from a khandaani parivaar, just someone with an unfinished education...
Shayad education ke waqt "babyboo" mil gaya hoga šŸ˜› aur romance karte karte education se dhyan hat gaya šŸ˜†

Maybe her character is written like that
I find the actress good enough for playing Lakshmi
