I don't think he will cause any problems for the family. he completely supports them. Remember when chandni along with his father was all set to destroy saloni, nahar and his family then it was dheer who tricked chandni's dad into believing he is on his side.

Besides i believe dheer has changed a lot since aditi's death. that's why i think dheer will help them getting revenge from urvashi and keep kaveri out of it.
