I guess in last episode, Moloy decorated room with candles to surprise Mohini and mentioned that tomorrow is the day when he had proposed her...

Basu don't need big excuse to throw the party. Plus Onupre will be back safe amidst the riots. More reasons to celebrate.

If he can raise his doubts about Naveen in front of 100 people, he surely can talk to his mother about how he feels for Mishka. He can at least say that he isn't ready yet.
