Is veer a pawn of the daayan?

The reason I ask is because he managed to escape from her and not get killed or does he have some really good luck

Was thinking the same, especially the background sound effect when Veer entered bus in yesterday episode. And it does look a little bit like that after the attack, like Veer has become pawn of Daayan because as you said there wasn't any reason for Daayan to not kill Veer.

But then the show looks a lot unpredictable. The background sound of Veer may be just misleading.

Somehow, his character gave such positive vibes in first two epis, then him trying to find Chandrika's information for Jhanvi and trying to help her.

I find him confusing post the abduction. In the first two episodes especially his intro for a moment I almost believed that he was paired opposite Jhanvi owing to how her friends kept shipping her with him but then with all the scenes with akarsh I guess I misjudged or maybe he is to be paired with the look alike I don't know. Plus how Jhanvi shared the details about the daayan with him besides her chacha.. I just hope he isn't gonna backstab her later under the daayan's influence.

I am also finding him very confusing after abduction. In first episode Veer definitely gave different vibes than the vibes he has been giving since he came back after being rescued. Jhanvi actually told about her dreams to everyone around her, her family her friends but as of now her friends are not believing her and her family are showing that they don't believe because I guess something like this happened with Manvi which everyone is hiding from Jhanvi. They are scared for Jhanvi. Also the male lead was always Mohit Malhotra (Akarsh) as per articles prior to show release.Tinaa and Mohit also told in their interview that their characters will have a romantic relation in the show. The characters are really confusing. I mean can't predict who is evil and who is not. But let us wait and see. This kind of makes the show interesting.

I think maybe because Veer has some special powers. Definitely it must be that otherwise they would not have shown Veer being able to escape unscathed despite being a mere mortal.

I think Veer is under Daayan control by hypnosis. That's why there's noticeable change in his overall demeanour and even body language.
