That FB scene - dayyum ❤️
The way Mahir tries to wake Bela up was so damn cute! He even goes , " Psst! psst, utho naa" , it's like a school kid signalling his friend to help him cheat in the middle of exam , " Pssst, psst, 2nd question ka answer kya hai?" 😆 It's his excitement to convey something important, something that's purely between them.
It was uber cute how he tried to get her attention by even sulking but Bela cared two hoots about it in front of her bigger love for sleep😆 In her defense, it's 2.00 AM apparently, and with her eventful lifestyle, she was probably sleeping peacefully in days!
Anyway, she humours him finally, because he is such a nag, as we and Bela know. He won't let her sleep till he gets it out of his system 🤣 So when she does ask what he never forgets what does he do? He repeats what he already told her earlier, " Tum ko" with that adorable goofy smile plastered to his face 😆 Such a cute background music too... so playful...
It's legit that Bela is exasperated with him there. Can't blame her. But he goes into a sulk again and damn! PVP nailed this bit for me, " Khud kuch nahi bol sakti kya?" Awww 😆 Mahirji's nasal tone in getting khafaa at her... And of course, Bela doesn't get the drift😆 She goes " Hain?" at him🤣
It was followed by some really beautiful lines by Bela. Kudos to Surbhi for delivering them with such earnestness and keeping it real, that what could otherwise come off as cheesy, came off as lovely and adorable 👏
" Suraj kaale badalon ke piche chup jaaye tho, suraj hi nahi hai kya?"
" The shore knows that waves would eventually come back to it. The New moon sky knows that the moon would eventually return to it's sky, we don't have to check our breathing to know if we are alive. These things are just there! You have to feel it. We need not SAY it" 👏
Mahir making fun of it was really a fantastic touch 😆 They both play off each other with words and actions... always catching each other off-guard or surprising each other with other's reaction.
Bela felt like a magician pulling rabbit out hat... She thought she has floored him with her words , it was so cute and funny when she declared , " See how NICELY I put it in words, happy? " 😆😆😆
WHY Would Mahir let this go?! 😆 He had to rattle Bela who was SO pleased with herself 🤣
Then he goes , " So you want to go to beach, on a cloudy day and you are experiencing breatlessness so we've to call doctor maybe..." 😆 Bela's changing expressions... He was savouring that 😆
It is a rare sight to see Mahir pulling her by her hand, it's such a norm in TV land, holding hand to stop/pulling... it was such a small but natural flow-in-the-moment thing...
Then comes the best line, " Sooraj aata hai tho Chand chalaa jaata hai kya?"
Literally, they've compared their love to Sun and Moon. Again, it could've been so cheesy but it came off so heart-warming!
Mahir's love is indeed like the Sun. You can't miss Sun's presence.It's bright, evident and all-encompassing!
And Bela's like moon. It's there, it's calm, you've to look up to see it... it doesn't shine glaringly on you like the Sun but it has it's own brightness, own undeniable calm presence.
What Mahir said here was acknowledging Bela's words... Just because his shines brighter and evidently doesn't mean her's is gone. Moon is always present in the same sky as Sun but Sun's brightness doesn't allow us to see it in the day, that does not mean moon is NOT there. Just what Bela has told with all her metaphors, he re-iterated with this one line. 😆
But poor Bela thought he was making fun of her😆
And like Bela said, dark clouds covering it doesn't mean Sun is not there. It IS always there. Right now, dark clouds seems to be covering the Sun, but he is still there. Will shine bright in his full glory soon too, you can't hide Sun for long! 😛
P.S: * eyeroll* @ Mahirji who even kept codes and solutions ready in case he loses memory! Itni duuur ki soch? What is this man?😆
