When a friend makes some mistake

Do not forget all the good things he did for you!!



After the showdown with Maan at Khurana Constructions Pinky had gone to Handa home, she needed to be with Geet but got to know that Geet had already left for Khurana Mansion.


Geet had immediately walked out after Rano had left (to meet Maan) as knew she wouldn't be able to hide her feelings and pain from Rano so it was best she left at the earliest!



Sighting the reason that she had just dropped in casually to greet them and had to reach her house (Khurana Mansion) early Geet had left from there.


Pinky didn't go to Mansion as it may create more chaos in the family but she tried calling Geet many times but couldn't get through.


Worried Pinky then called up at the landline number of the mansion only to be informed that Geet had left from there sometime back with a bag.

This was enough to ring the warning bell for Pinky and she immediately informed Adi and Shasha.


Shasha and Pari left immediately to go to few places where they thought Geet could have gone, Pinky too knew some of Geet's friends where she could go and inquire. Adi chose to inform Maan before leaving to look around for Geet.




Maan had barged out of his office as Adi disclosed the news of Geet being missing.

Maan seemed in a very tormented and troubled state. His hand was bleeding but not a trace of that pain he could see on Maan's face but there was some hidden unspoken pain in his eyes.

Adi realized that the conversation with Rano had affected him gravely!!


And friend in him couldn't leave Maan in this state so he accompanied him. He somehow bandaged his wounded hand in the car, as the driver drove the car in the Khurana Mansion premises. Maan got down at the gate.


He inquired with the security staff who informed him Geet had come here for sometime and then left with a small bag. Maan burst out on them for allowing Geet to go alone. Adi tried to calm him down.


"Maan ... calm down ... woh Geet ko kaise rok sakte hain ... aur unhe thodi pata tha ke Geet aise kahi chali jaayegi."



Maan was not in his control ... he didn't know what he was doing ...what he should do ... where to find Geet!



Anger is nothing more than,

an outward expression of ......

hurt, fear and frustration!!

No matter Maan was a difficult Boss but all his employees held great regard for him. The mere thought that their Maan Sir is worried and Geet Madam may be in trouble was enough to prompt them to act.

The head security officer immediately sent few of his man to inquire around the mansion if someone has any information of Geet.


"Sir aap fikar mat kijiye ... hum pata laga rahe hain ... koi bhi information mili toh aap ko inform karenge. The head promised Maan.



Maan rushed in only to find his family waiting for their son and daughter in law's arrival. Maan's troubled expression was enough to alarm them. Dadimaa at once realized something was bothering him, and then him coming with Adi ... Where was Geet?



Adi was quick to inform them that Geet was missing shocking them all ... As just few hours back Geet had returned home ... Dadimaa, Raj, Rashmi and Annie were leaving for some charity function. They had asked her to join them but Geet refused saying she wanted to rest.


Geet seemed very weak and uneasy so they thought to let her rest ... infact Rashmi had wanted to stay back with Geet. But Geet assured her she was just a little tired and was wanting to sleep. Reluctantly they left her alone not at all expecting that something so unpleasant was in store for them.




"Hume toh laga Geet wapas office chali gayi hogi ... woh toh aap se door reh hi nahi sakti." Dadimaa added.

Her words pierced Maan's soul!



'Yes!! ... Geet could never live without her Maan Sir but sadly Her Maan Sir never valued her feelings and Her Love!!'


Shasha, Pinky and Pari too joined them at the Mansion after their failed attempt to find Geet but she was nowhere!


Dadimaa could sense the discomfort ... the tension ... the angst between all!!

It was something unusual!!!


The more anger you hold towards the past in your heart!

The less capable you are in loving your present!!




"Shasha saaf saaf batayein baat kya hain?" Dadimaa queried firmly.


Dadimaa knew Maan will never speak up as he is always used to keeping things to himself and Adi will never go against Maan but Shasha will never lie to her.



Shasha disclosed events that had transpired today and that was enough for Dadimaa to know that Maan had yet again ruined everything in his anger. Not able to bear the truth she walked up to him and slapped him right across his face!!



"Sharam aa rahi hain aaj hume aap par ... aur apne aap par ... ke hum aap ko ek acchi parvarish nahi de paaye ... ek accha insaan nahi bana paaye ... Business karna to acche se seekh liya aap ne lekin insaniyat bhool gaye."


"Apne gusse aur junoon mein aap ne har rishtey ko bali chada diya ... aap na ek acche bete ban paaye ...na ek acche bhai ... na ek acche dost aur naa hi ek acche pati!" She spat the words on his face.


"Maan aap ne hamaare sanskaar ...hamaari parvarish ... hamaara vishwaas ko ...HAR RISHTEY KO JHOOTLA DIYA ... HUME HARA DIYA!!" Dadimaa rued in defeat.



"Kehte hain jiska khud ka dil toota hota hain ... woh kisi aur ka dil nahi tod sakta ... par shayad ab aap ke andar ka dil mar chuka hain ... issiliye aap ne uss masoom ladki ke dil ke tukde tukde kar diye!!" Dadimaa burst out in pain.



Maan truly felt ashamed... The woman who stood there crying was the same woman who stood by him always!! ... She shielded them from the world by her unconditional and pure love... she was their God ... their father ... their mother ... EVERYTHING!!!

But he failed her today!!



Even he didn't realize when he strayed away from his relations ... to avoid pain ... to not let emotions weaken him he always stayed away from home... But he didn't realize that distance had created barriers in all his relations.



Yes he was the most successful businessman today but yes he had failed as a human ... he failed as a son ... as a brother ... as a husband ... he had failed his every relation!

Adi called out to Maan "Maan lets not waste time ... You go and check your room once or we need to inform the police."



Maan dragged himself to his room ... everything was same ... but it suddenly seemed lifeless!! ... Cos the SOUL was missing!!


Each and every thing in that room now ... just didn't belong to him ... but it had traces of Geet in them!!



Maan could actually see Geet all around the room ... her caressing the flowers of their bedside table ... sitting on the stool of the dresser and getting ready ... walking out of the washroom drying her wet hair ... standing in their balcony ...



He felt choked ... an uneasy feeling gripping him!! Something told him Geet was in trouble ... He felt a faint pain in his chest like congesting him! ... HE just couldn't breathe!!




Its the loss that teaches us the worth of things!!





He rushed to check Geet's wardrobe for any clue but was utterly shocked seeing everything intact. All her clothes, jewellery etc everything was right there ... she hadn't taken anything with her.


Little did he know that Geet never wanted these expensive clothes, jewellery, lifestyle ... all she craved was for LOVE!!


He closed his eyes in pain realizing what his anger has done and who had to pay the price!!



Just because you are angry doesn't mean

You have a right to be cruel!!


He was about to close the wardrobe when something caught his eye. It was an envelope. He opened it to read the letter when her mangalsutra fell out from it.



He remembered his own words while tying it around Geet slender neck.


"Yeh sirf ek formality hain Geet ... isse hamesha yaad rakhna ... yeh bahot expensive hain lekin mere liye iski koi value nahi hain ... Yeh tum kabhi mat bhoolna!"



She left the mangalsutra here ... all the expensive clothes, jewellery everything ... she left everything here!



His words ... his taunts ... his allegations for being a gold digger ... trapping him for money everything echoed in his mind.




Words hurt more than anything else can

Because they last sometimes forever!!



Geet had proved him wrong ... his every belief was wrong ... He always believed life is business ... give and take!



He thought Geet had married him for her convenience ... but today he got to know the truth that she married him only because Rano allowed her ...and not because he had convinced her ... or struck the deal with her!


She never had any ulterior motives!!



Not able to handle his emotions he read the letter.


Sir,
Aap ne jo mere aur mere parivaar ke liye kiya hain woh main kabhi nahi bhool sakti. Aap ke ehsaan shayad main kabhi na chuka pau.
Aur aaj mujhe ehsaas hua ke, mera aap ki zindagi mein hona aap ko kitni takleef pohucha raha hain. Mera ya mere parivaar ka iraada aap ko chot pohuchane ka nahi tha ... aur na hi aap ka faaayda uthane ka.

Maan gazed at the letter ...it was not just a letter ... but the consequences of his mindless act!


Today Geet had proved her Love!! ... her selflessness ... her honesty ... and her loyalty!!



"Geet aaj tumne saabit kar diya ke tumhare liye hamesha pyaar aur parivaar hi maayne rakhta tha ... tum mere saath thi kyunki tum mujhse pyaar karti thi ... mujhse shaadi sirf apne parivar ke liye ki ... aur aaj phir se tumne ... apne pyar ke liye itna kuch saha ... phir bhi sazaa khud ko hi de rahi ho."



" ... Kyun Geet ... kyun?" He screamed in regret.




"Kyunki woh tumse pyaar karti hain ... issiliye tumhari galtiyon ki sazaa woh khud ko de rahi hain ... jaise tumhaare Papa ne meri galtiyon ke sazaa khud ko di."



One sided story is half truth

To find the complete truth

One has to discover both sides!!



Maan turned around to see his parents standing there.

"Aaj tumne saabit kar diya ke tum mere hi bete ho Maan!" Rashmi announced.



Trying to keep his temper in check Maan spoke out.

"Aap meri koi nahi hain ... aur main iss waqt aap se koi baat nahi karna chahta ... Just leave!"



Raj tried to stop Rashmi but...



"Jaise maine apne junoon aur zidd main apne rishtey daav par laga diye ... tumne bhi toh wohi kiya hain Maan ... bas haalat alag alag hain!" She added.



"Dad bhale sab bhool gaye ho ... lekin main nahi! ...Aap ki galti maafi ke kaabil nahi hain... "Maan spoke up.



"Galti toh tumhari bhi maafi ke kaabil nahi hain Maan .. " Rashmi countered back.


"AAAP... Maan was loosing it but Raj intervened.



"Maan! ... Hum sab insaan hain ...hum galti karte hain ... aur apni galtiyon se hi seekhte hain ... koi perfect nahi hota."



"Rashmi ne bahot galat kiya lekin humne bhi toh waqt rehte usse nahi roka ... agar main pehle hi samajh jaata toh shayad hamaara parivaar kabhi tootta hi nahi." Raj confessed.


Raj and Rashmi had a love marriage and Raj's parents reluctantly accepted this relation. Rashmi belonged to a middle class family and as expected she was finding it difficult to adjust to their high class society.



Rashmi avoided parties and public appearances, she was happy living a simple life with her family but things went out of hand when gossips started spreading against the Khurana's due to continuous absence in public gatherings.


This started affecting her relations ... constant fights among them made everything difficult for her so Savitri Devi convinced her to attend these parties and gatherings to balance her family's happiness and reputation.


But in a bid to live up to the Khurana family lineage ... keeping up with high class social lifestyle ... the simple homely Rashmi was lost!!


She wanted to save her marriage but ended up ruining all!!

It was not only her fault ... a lot of factors had affected and forced her to be what she was never!!


Maan stood shell shocked as one more truth of their life surfaced out!!


The loud argument noises from his room had prompted all to gather here and when Raj narrated the real reason of their family falling apart Maan and Annie were the worst affected!



They always thought their Mom was the reason of all their woes but today they realized that she was not the only one to blame!


In an attempt to maintain their social status their whole family crumpled down!!



"Yehi sach hain Maan ... galti hum sab se hoti hain ... lekin galti ka ehsass hona ...aur uski maafi maang lena hi ... rishton ki asli taaqat hoti hain!! Dadimaa asserted firmly.



Maan felt like Deja vu ... as Rano's last words echoed in his mind...


"Maanji hum insaan hain ... galti karna hamaari fitrat (habit) hain ... aur hum apni galtiyon se hi seekhte hain ... apni galti ka ehsaas hona ... uski maafi maang lena hi zindagi hain."


"Hamaari inhi galtiyon ko hammare apne maaf kar dete hain ... yeh zaroori toh nahi ... ke bade (elders) koi galati nahi kar sakte ...waqt aur haalat kai baar (many times) hume majboor kar dete hain."



"Apne dil ko saaf rakh kar ... maaf kar dena hi ... asli rishton ki taaqat hoti hain."


"Aage aap khud samajhdaar hain!" Rano enlightened Maan.



Nobody is perfect

Nobody is correct

But in Relationships

Affection is always greater than Perfection!!

Maan couldn't take it anymore ... he felt suffocated ... he just dashed out of the room.



Right now he couldn't think straight ... all his attention was on his Geet ... he had to find her ... anyhow ... each passing moment his fear was increasing ... his instincts warned him ... that all was not fine ... and the storm was to arrive!!


Adi, Shasha, Pinky and Pari joined him ... Maan was about to discuss his plan when his phone rang.



Maan stumbled back in shock hearing the voice from the other side.


"MAAN... Adi and Shasha rushed to hold him.

Shasha answered the phone and disclosed...

"Geet ki report aa gayi hain ... Geet pregnant hain!!"





No one ever told me that

Grief felt so like ...FEAR!!!



Shasha reached out to him and spoke out.


"Maan get a grip of yourself ... yeh waqt kamzor padne ka nahi ... balki himmat se aage badhne ka hain ... ab toh hamaare liye Geet ko jaldi dhoondhna aur bhi zaroori ho gaya hain ... usse toh shayad baby ke baare mein pata bhi nahi hoga." Shasha divulged.



Just then the security head came running and informed Maan that the nearby shop owner had recognized Geet and he had overheard her telling an auto-rickshaw driver to take her to the nearby bus stand.



A ray of hope lit in the dark gloomy path only to be extinguished!!



As Maan's phone buzzed again and this time an unknown number flashed divulging that ... the storm had arrived!!


Shasha put the phone on speaker and the speaker announced proudly.

"Biwi ko dhoondh raha hain Khurana ... woh mere paas hain ... kimmat bhi meri ... waqt bhi mera ... aur shartein bhi meri ... koi hoshiyaari nahi ... kyunki vaar toh mera hoga ... lekin biwi teri hain!!"



"Toh intezaar kar mere agle call ka." He cut the call.


For a few moments there was complete silence!! ... Non spoke out of shock!!



Shasha collected herself and spoke out.

"Adi ... Jay ko call karo ... we don't have time and not many options."



"Shasha tum office jao aur saari CCTV footage check karo ... uss ladki ki aur kal jab woh quotation file Geet ke paas thi tab ki bhi ... hamaare mein se koi toh hain jo gaddar hain!"



"And my instincts say that all of them are connected!" Maan pronounced tactfully.


He may have lost control for few moments but he was a fighter and today he had to fight for his wife and his baby ... to get them back safe and sound!



Fate whispers to the warrior

You cannot withstand the storm!

I am the storm!!'


Maan's car and Shasha's car left the Mansion together and headed in their respective directions.


Shasha stopped the car in a secluded corner of a small lane near Khurana Constructions as Maan and Adi got down where the Company car was waiting for them.


Maan knew the kidnappers will be keeping a watch on his every move so he dodged their attention by sending his security in his car to the bus stand. If they are lucky they may atleast get some information about Geet.



The plan was set as they were about disperse and emotional Maan joined his hands and apologized!!



"SORRYY!!" was all he could utter softly.



He had hurt them with his ruthless behaviour yet in the time of need they all stood strong with him ... not once leaving him alone ... He was blessed to have them in his life!!


True friends are like mirror and shadow

Because mirror never lies

And shadows never leave!!



Adi and Shasha hugged him promising each other that together they will successfully overcome this storm too!!

"VICKYYY...." Pari gasped in shock.

Shasha who was checking out the other footage looked up in surprise. Having a closer look at the video Shasha knew he was the traitor!!



Skimming through Maan's cabin footage where that woman was waiting at the first instance they didn't get any clue but Shasha's sharp mind and observation helped them to nail the culprit.



That woman had received a call and zooming in the footage they got the number that flashed on the screen of that woman's phone.


Forwarding the number to Jay ... Shasha headed towards her next target.


An open enemy is better ...than a false friend!!


"Ma'am sab theek hain na? ... Itni raat gaye aap office mein hain?" He inquired as he walked in Shasha's cabin.


"Haan kuch important kaam tha ...I hope maine tumhaari night life disturb nahi ki?" She queried casually seated on her chair.




"Of course not Ma'am ... kehiye kya kaam karna hain." He replied.



"Ek personal question poochu tumse ... if you don't mind ... tumhaare liye dosti, vishwaas, rishtey kya maayne rakhte hain?" She probed.



"Ji?... main kuch samjha nahi ... aap kya jaan na chahti hain? " He seemed confused.


"Simple sa question hain ... ke tumhare liye ... dosti, viswaas, rishtey etc kya maayne rakhte hain ... I mean .." She repeated again.


"Bahot maayne rakhte hain ... vishwaas , rishtey , dosti sab mere liye bahot important hain itne ke..." He answered firmly.




"Itne ke ... tum iske liye kuch bhi kar sakte ho... kisi bhi hadd tak jaa sakte ho ... kisi ko bhi dhoka de sakte ho ... ya phir kisi ki jaan bhi le sakte ho ... hain na?" Shasha bit out.


"Ma'am aap yeh kaisi baat kar rahi ho ... main aisa ... nahin... kaise aap mujhpe?" He argued painfully.



"Haan ...main tumhe hi pooch rahi ho ... kaise tumne apne mentor aur boss Adi aur Maan ko dhoka diya ... kaise tum apne best friend aur Maa ko jhoot bol kar yahan aa gaye aur sabse zyaada woh ladki jo tumhe apna best friend ... apna well wisher manti thi usse hurt kiya ... dhoka diya ... kidnap karwaya ...woh bhi tab jab woh pregnant hain!" Banging her hands on the table she got up from her chair and burst out on him.


"Shasha Ma'am... aap galat... samajh rahi hain.." He tried to deny but Shasha's next set of words sealed his mouth.


"Main galat hoon ... Vikas Kukreja ... ya phir yeh naam kaise hain ... Mr Vikrant Kapoor!"


"Mera naam Vikas hain Ma'am." He still was in denial.


"PARI ..." Shasha screamed as Pari and Pinky walked out from the washroom.



Seeing Pari ... Vicky realized his game was really up!



Till now he was pretending to be unaware but Pari, his best friend was in India ... in this Company ...when did she come here from London. So many questions gripped his mind but the main concern was now they know his truth and are trying to frame him in some false case.



"Listen carefully Vikas... Vikrant ...Vicky whoever you are ... I don't care ... Cut the crap ... your game is over ...seedhe seedhe bataon ...Geet kahan hain?" She stressed on each word.


"Ma'am main nahi jaanta Geet ke baare mein ... trust me!" Vicky owned up.


"TRUST!!! ... Iss shabd ka matlab bhi jaante ho tum? ... aakhri baar pooch rahi hoon ... Geet kahan hain?"



"Don't force me to do what I don't want to do ... tum mujhe abhi jaante nahi ho ... main apne apno ke liye mar bhi sakti hoon ... aur kisi ko maar bhi sakti hoon!... Mujhe majboor mat karo ke main bhool jau ke tum Kapoor Uncle ke bete ho!!" Shasha hovered over him dangerously as she angrily bit out.




"Haan .. main Vikrant Kapoor hoon ... Mr Abhay Kapoor ka beta jisse aap logon ne barbaad kar diya... Jo aap ne meri family ke saath kiya wohi maine aap ke saath kiya ... toh kya galat kiya? "He confessed.



"Humne ...Humne tumhari family ko barbaad kiya! ... Chalo mere saath." Shasha dragged him out with her.



Ignorance is the root and stem of all evil!!





HANDA HOUSE


Rano just stared blankly at Maan while Mohinder and Beeji were clueless of the storm that had trapped their beloved angel!



Maan and Adi thought it was best to not disclose much here but Rano could read his eyes and sensed something was wrong. She followed him out to the car, Maan turned around and assured her.




"Main aap ki Geet ko wapas lekar aaunga ... sahi salamat ...yeh mera ... Maan Singh Khurana ka vaada hain ek Maa se!" He promised.




But Rano's question caught him off guard! ... With no answer.

"Yeh vaada ek Boss kar raha hain ... ya ek Pati?"



Her words choked him, he didn't know what he felt ... what to answer ... how to react?


He was in an emotional mess right now ... so many truths had surfaced out leaving him absolutely lost and defeated!



Having no answer he just looked at the woman for few seconds before driving off.



Sometimes ...you can't focus

on whats tearing you apart

or whats keeping you together!!
