I think makers aren't interested in Chakor's romantic life, getting rid of Suraj was a relief to them. For them it's all about her responsibilities, even when they show her pain it's just to show how hard it is for her to fulfill her duties. Chakor as a character has become too serious, I'm reminded of how young kids think of their parents, not how we think of our friends.
Seems Suraj's death has little to do with exploring Raghav-Chakor and more to do with giving Akash control of haveli.

It's baffling why makers aren't interested in an emotional track, it has always worked for Udaan.

We all love the inspector, he's a decent man with limitations like mosst of us and the actor is good, no one has complained about his acting or voice modulation.

regarding that emotional track ,again well said. dont know why they are not concentrating on that

its too much high drama and seriousness always these days. as if the only work of chakor is to put an end to all the evil in world. thinking, speaking, running all for it.
for godsake, she too can have a personal life right.

previously the balance was right in old epis.

well alot will depend on what they plan to show with raghav now. will he show feelings towards chakor? if he does then that could mean he will play a role in bringing imli back to her negative avtaar. i somehow dont think udaan makers are not interested in chakor love life, they are just very careful with that aspect of hers. they dont want to show anything which will taint the sukor bond. i mean so far they have shown chakor not having any feelings for raghav and her behaviour is apt to words him. maybe a better way of putting this all is that they have not decided what to show with chakor-raghav. They could show him as Chakor strong support, which she badly needs at this stage.
the questions imli asks raghav have some point imo. i mean she asked him about falling in love, he said chakor name, then yesterday he let go of her hand and diverted the topic. they are planning a triangle but chakor is not part of it yet, bec she has no feelings for raghav and raghav has not shown anything poignant towrads her yet

i generally feel its insulting to show raghav have any feelings for someone like imli, bec she is beyond disgusting. she has had countless men in her life and if raghav shown accepting her, then i dont think his character will remain likable anymore.

chakor has become serious but thats due to circumstances, if she is given some happiness she will smile again. raghav has the potential to make her smile and react. we saw that in the water jug scene and how he motivated her using the word focus.

even if he isnt suraj i still feel they can show a good angle with him and chakor, not necessary it has to lead to marriage.
