Pinky who stood up strong against him for an honour of a woman!!!

Shasha who could go to any extent for her friendship!!!

And Rano Handa who was the live example of surrender, strength and sacrifice !!!

How lowly he felt ... as he stood defeated ... he had lost his Love ... his friends ... his everything!!

He ruined it all ... by his own hands ... and now he stands here ... shattered ... lonely ... just like a looser!!!

Life's greatest lessons are usually learnt

At the worst times

And from the worst mistakes!!

Maan stood there totally defeated as Rano left his office. He sunk down in his chair not being able to come in terms with the hard hitting TRUTH that had surfaced out!

MAAN SINGH KHURANA WAS WRONG! ... HIS BELIEF WAS WRONG! ... HIS ACTIONS WERE WRONG! ... HIS ENTIRE BEING WAS WRONGED!!!! ...AND HOW!!!

His thoughts ventured to that fateful day when Destiny intervened and both his and Geet's life changed forever!!!

{FLASHBACK BEGINS...}

The day after their Shimla trip. How he had hated the mere idea to return to Delhi. they had to accompany Adi ... the bliss of them being together ended!

The night back in Delhi, away from Geet was unending!!

He missed having her in his arms ... He missed their intimacy ... He missed their togetherness!!

Only he knew how he had managed to spend that night ... stopped himself from barging inside Geet's home ... He had reached office at the earliest but Geet didn't turn up.

He was pacing restlessly in his office as he waited for her but she was late ... with each passing minute his temper was rising ... each moment seemed like a lifetime ... he was going crazy ...and he was hating the effect Geet was having on him!

More than being angry at Geet he was angry on himself for not able to control himself!! ... He was getting involved with Geet ... it was not just physical anymore ... And that was troubling him.

Finally after a couple of hours when Geet came to office unknown to the fact that Her Maan Sir was seething with rage!

Her few words to him was enough for hell to break loose!!

Open your mind

Before your mouth!!

The moment Geet entered his cabin, he pinned her to the nearby wall and pounced on her like a wounded tiger!

"Kya samajhti ho tum apne aap ko ... aur kya samajh ke rakha hain tumne mujhe? ... Tumhara jab mann karta hain tum aaogi ... aur jab mann kiya jaaogi."

"Aur main yahan paagalon ki tarah tumhara intezaar karta rahunga?" He barked.

"Nahi ... Sir ... woh main ..." She tried to urge but he shut her off.

"Chup ... bilkul chup!...Bas karo apni inn bholi aankhon se mujhe bewakoof bana na! ... Saaf saaf bolo kya chal raha hain tumhare dimaag main?...BOLO..." He roared.

"Woh main ..." She fumbled with her words, she closed her eyes and then taking a deep breath calming herself she spoke.

"Kya aap mujhse shaadi karenge?"

Maan was stunned for few seconds trying to decipher whether did he hear right? ... Did Geet really utter those words? ... Or he had misunderstood? ... But

"Sir ... woh ... " she urged again

"...Shaadi ... " And that was it!

The last strand of his control broke and he blasted her.

"SHAADI??? ... Tum mujhse shaadi karna chahti ho? ... Maine tumse pehle hi kahan tha ... tumhari himmat kaise hui aisi baat bol ne ki ... aisa sapna dekhne ke bhi!!"

"Maine thodi parvaa (care) kya dikhayi ... Tum toh mere gale hi pad rahi ho ... Tumhe laga ab Maan Sir poori tarah se mere kaboo (control) mein hain ... hain na ... Toh main unhe emotional blackmail kar ke shaadi kar loongi ... Kyun?"

" ... Yehi plan hain na tumhara ... issiliye tum aaj itni late aayi ho taaki mujhe emotional kar ke shaadi ke liye phasa (trap) sako?"

"Kya plan banaya hain Geet! ... Kya kamaal ki game hain ..." He burst out on her.

His anger took over him not realizing what he spoke and how much it hurt Geet. He held her harshly as he confronted her.

"Nahi Sir ... aap galat samajh ... woh ... WILL ... MERA PARIVAAR ... FUTURE!" She tried to frame the words but Maan didn't let her complete.

Pushing her harshly he announced.

"GET OUT OF MY LIFE ... AND ...GET OUT OF MY OFFICE! ... YOU ARE FIRED!!!"

"Dobara mujhe apni shakal bhi mat dikhana! ... Nikal jao yahan se!" He ordered her failing to notice her helplessness!

The highest form of Ignorance

...is when you reject

...something you don't know about!!

Maan got up from his chair and paced to the huge windows of his cabin overlooking the busy road below. So much crowd, commotion and chaos was around him ... yet this cabin has always been his saviour from the world!

A companion to his lonely life until Geet barged into his life!!

Post the Shimla trip (after Maan had thrown out Geet from his office and his life) this very cabin had witnessed his emotional outburst, his longing for her, his restlessness and his helplessness!!...

...Yet his EGO was too big to accept the fact that He missed GEET!!

Maan's thoughts again skimmed up to that day when Geet's siblings had come to his office to meet Adi, Mr Handa had requested him to meet someone. Curious as well as concerned about the reason Maan too had accompanied them.

{FLASHBACK BEGINS...}

[The facts that Geet's siblings had stated were utterly shocking for all of them. Mohinder Handa had sent them here to meet Adi, seeking his help to save Geet's life. The children didn't know much but handed over a business card. Mohinder Handa wanted Adi to meet this man ... only this man could enlighten them about the whole chaos that had been created by Geet's mother in these couple of hours.

They needed to meet this man!

Adi took the driver's seat with Maan sitting besides him, while Shasha, Pinky and the children sat behind.

They finally met that man, he was a lawyer, Geet's grandparents (Nana-Nani) lawyer. Geet's grandparents were rich zamindars of their village, Santosh (Geet's mother) was their only child and legally Geet was their only heir. Inorder to safeguard Geet's interest and her inheritance a will was drafted which stated that,

Geet will be the legal owner of their entire property after she completes 18 yrs of age. But Geet cannot transfer or take any decision about her property without her husbands approval and signature.

Mohinder doubted Rano's intentions but blindly trusted Rahul's father so he convinced Geet's grandparents to include this clause as he had fixed Geet's wedding with Rahul. He felt he had secured his child's future but little did he know that this will would be the sole reason of his daughter's misfortune!

This Will and the inheritance were the sole reason why Rahul's family wanted to get Geet and Rahul married.

That morning after their Shimla trip, Geet was on her way to office The whole restless night without Maan sir had been very truly tormenting for her too!

She hurried to out of her home to office just to catch a glimpse of Maan but a phone call halted her steps.

Geet had been called to the lawyer's office to sign some legal documents. Finally Geet was a major now and legally the owner of all her grandparents inheritance. Brij who was loitering around Geet's home had overheard her conversation with the lawyer on the phone so he followed her and could manage to get his hands on every detail about the Will.

Brij informed Rano about the same. Then both Brij and Kuljeet used Rano's fear that Mohinder and Rahul's family are planning something against her thereby manipulating the situation making her agree to get Geet married to Brij.

So when a shattered Geet returned home (after her confrontation with Maan) there was a huge showdown at Handa home as Mohinder wanted Geet to marry Rahul , while Rano wanted her to marry Brij.

And as always Geet blindly obeyed Rano. But Rano didn't trust Mohinder or Rahul's family. She had a feeling that they were planning something so she locked Geet in one room taking a promise from her, that Geet will not go against her word!

A moment of patience,

in a moment of anger,

saves u a hundred moments of regret!!

The truth that surfaced out at the lawyer's office was truly shocking for all! Now Maan could relate to Geet's words the other day at the office

"Nahi Sir ... aap galat samajh ... woh ... WILL ... MERA PARIVAAR ... FUTURE!"

He closed his eyes trying to gulp down the lump of regret. Geet was scared, confused and worried about her family's future.

She had known the true colours of both Rahul and Brij so there was only person whom she trusted and looked up for help...

But ... Alas!!!

Maan's anger buried her in a grave of misery instead of rescuing her!!

Now calmly analyzing the situation Maan could easily relate to Geet's worries. Geet wanted to safeguard her family's future with the inheritance. She was till date absolutely unaware of the fact that she had so much money and property in her name. This inheritance could end all her family's miseries and only one person could help her, guide her to safeguard her family's future ... That was Her Maan Sir!

Whom she blindly trusted!! She knew he would never cheat her but would help her to solve her problem. She was too naive to understand the legalities of the Will. But all she understood that if her Maan sir agrees to marry her than everything will be sorted!

But here in his rage and impatience Maan just ruined it all!!

The marriage proposal was not for trapping him but to secure her family's interest!

Instead of helping her out ...he had shunned her away!!

He sighed in regret!!!

He rushed to his washroom and splashed water on his face ...so much had transpired in a matter of few hours just like that day.

when really its all you seem to think about!

A hassled Maan walked out of the lawyer's office along with Adi and Shasha.

Few hours back they were in Shimla ... in their bliss!!

But back in Delhi everything just fell apart. His Geet was no longer his! ... Rano was getting Geet married to some Brij. Rajji n Tito both begged him to save their sister.

Though the kids were unaware of the Will as they didn't accompany them inside the lawyer's office. Pinky along with the kids waited out for them yet the kids knew Brij can never be a good life partner for their Di and they hated the very idea about their Di getting married to him.

The idea of HIS GEET getting married to someone had shaken up his whole being!!

He could not let this happen ... she was HIS!! ... Only Maan could own his Geet!!

He will never let her go ... this wedding can never happen ...he will never let it happen!!

His shrewd brain had already etched a full proof plan and he shared it with his friends urging them to immediately do the needful.

Adi, Pinky and Shasha parted ways while Maan along with the kids headed to Handa home where his Geet was locked up in her room ...expecting her doom!!

Gone are the moments of happiness ... now a horrible reality is waiting to engulf her in its dirty dark world!!

Just some hours are left in her destruction and then she will be lost forever and ever...

Locked up in her room by her Mom ... her tears refuse to stop ... her body giving up cos now she has no more strength left in her to fight for herself ... Her hope to live is long lost! ... Only one person could save her from her doom ... but he had already thrown her out of his life!

The dream had ended! ... And the nightmare was about to begin!!

Everything was like a dream but ... not all dreams realize!!

One hidden truth that had surfaced out shattered all her dreams ... changed her life forever!!

She had lost her Maan sir ...forever!!!!!

She shuddered as she heard loud noise of glass cracking into pieces just like her life ...

... the pieces of the glass lay scattered around her.]

Geet looked up to find her Maan Sir outside her window, he has smashed the glass window and was calling out to her. She at once rushed to him ... for a moment she felt her painful ordeal had ended!

She wanted to jump out of the house straight in his arms ... but then her Maa's words echoed in her ears. Her promise to her mother halted her steps. Her Maan Sir was urging her to jump out of the window but all his words fell on to deaf ears.

She can never betray her MAA ... not for anything in this world ... Her Maa was her God!! No matter how much she loved Maan ... but yet ... not even for Her Love ... Her Maan Sir!! ... She would go against Her Maa!!

She stood like a statue with her eyes brimming with tears of her helplessness ... when a movement behind Maan caught her attention. It was Her MAA!!

Rano who had discovered about her sister Kuljeet's and Brij's plan felt drowned in her own pit of darkness for her daughter but like a knight in shinning armour Maan had emerged out to rescue her child!

She had overheard Maaneet's conversation and for the first time she didn't see responsibility but saw only pure love in Maan's eyes for her child!

Rano just like her daughter blindly trusted Maan ... she knew only Maan will protect her and value her daughter ... And today the worry in Maan's eyes for Geet ... the longing for her ... the love for Geet was clearly visible to a Mother!

Geet looked at her Maa helplessly but to her surprise her Maa nodded her head gesturing her to go with her Maan Sir. Geet tried to call out to her but as usual the next moment her Maa had shielded herself of any emotion and walked away.

Everything made sense now ... why Geet was motionless inspite of him urging her jump out of the window ... Rano's words echoed in his mind ... Giving him a much needed reality check!!

"Maine aap ki aur Geet ki saari baatein sun li ... Geet ne mujhe wahan dekh liya tha ... aap par poora vishwas tha mujhe ... aur issliye maine hi Geet ko haan karne ka ishaara kiya tha!!" Rano announced.

"Meri marzi ke bina ... Geet kabhi aap ki baat nahi maanti ... chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye!! ... Kehte hain khoon ke rishtey bahot mazboot hote hain ...Lekin yeh sahi nahi hain!"

"KHOON SE ZYAADA MAZBOOT HOTE HAIN ... DIL KE RISHTEY ... DARD KE RISHTEY ... AATMA SE JUDE RISHTEY!!"

"Aur yehi mera aur Geet ka rishta hain!"

"MAIN USKI MAA THI ... HOON ...AUR HAMESHA RAHUNGI!!" This time she proclaimed proudly.

Geet would always abide to all his orders but for the very first time he felt she was not his Geet!! ...YES ... The Geet who had been standing there was only a daughter ... who can never go against her Maa!!

Today he realized what bond Geet and Rano shared!! ... Not blood but their Souls binds them together!! ... His lowly thinking could never match up to their supreme bond!!

Anger... frustration ... guilt ... shame coursed through him and he smashed the mirror that reflected his disgusting being!!

He looked at his bloodied hands ... the pain of the mirror pieces piercing him calmed his inner pain ... made him feel as if he is repaying for his sins!!

The biggest Sin ... to hurt an Angel ... who loved him unconditionally ... who showered happiness in his life ... who filled his life with colours ... HIS WIFE ... HIS GEET ... Mrs GEET MAAN SINGH KHURANA!!

Once in while,

Right in the middle of a ordinary life

Love gives us a Fairytale!!

Yes they had married that very day in the temple followed by completing the formalities of registering their marriage to avoid any other problems from Geet's family.

Geet's dream to be her Maan Sir's wife had realized!!!

For the world it was marriage but only Maan-Geet knew it was a contract that Maan had drafted to ease off all Geet's worries and to secure her family. Geet was happy to be with her Love even though it was for few months, those memories were enough to last for a lifetime!

While for Maan it was a way to keep Geet with him keeping up a farce of marriage to the world but in reality it was just a deal that he had made with Geet.

Maan had tactfully handled all the legal formalities of the Will. All the money was transferred in fixed deposits dividing the inheritance amongst Geet's siblings, Mohinder's and Geet's Beeji's medical treatment and also some part of it in Rano's name too as Geet wanted it that way.

Maan and Geet would stay together for few months as a normal married couple but once everything is sorted they would part ways forever. This way Maan will be free of any relation and Geet's worries will also be taken care of!

The shrewd and calculative businessman in Maan had played his cards perfectly ... He had taken complete advantage of Geet's innocence and trust in him. Even Adi and Shasha were not aware about this contract.

But as they say Life and Love takes it own course!! ... Day by day he was unknowingly getting attached to Geet! ... His passion ... his longing... the attraction was only increasing with each passing moment!!

Maan recollected what he had decided today morning!!

Impulsive actions lead to trouble

and trouble could have unpleasant consequences!!

It had been two months since their so called wedding. Maan looked out of his mansion window trying to come in terms with the happenings of his life. From the day he had landed in India his otherwise planned and scheduled life had gone for a toss and the reason being only one ... Geet Handa or should he say Mrs Geet Maan Singh Khurana now!!

He still couldn't believe now he is married!!

This girl had entered his life like a tornado and turned his life upside down. He hated these words love, marriage, relations etc but certain events had forced him to not only to take decisions he never wanted to make but also accept them in his life!!

Geet's arrival in his life and in his house had changed everything around! She with innocence and selflessness had bonded with everyone in his family. He hated the fact that Geet got along very well not only with his Dadima and Annie but also with his so called Mother.

Infact he could clearly sense Geet was trying to bridge the gap between them. A number of times they had arguments too and Maan had clearly warned her to stay out of it but Geet was Geet!

A part of him was happy that the otherwise lifeless Mansion was now Home!! ... Thanks to his wife!! ... But he didn't like this change ... He didn't want emotions to take over him and so he had to act fast!

On the other hand somebody was constantly creating troubles for Khurana Constructions and he had hunt them!! ... Geet was unwell today so she would rest at home and finally he could concentrate on business but ...

Geet had come and ruined his plan to trap that woman ... All his pent up frustration, anger of days he vented out on Geet!...

Everything went out of control!! ... And he had hurt her real deep ... real bad ... probably scarred her forever!!

He fisted his injured hand hard ... more pain acted as a balm to him! ... This pain was his punishment to have ruined a life ... broken an innocent heart!! ... snatched away all the Love and spread his meaningless hatred around!!

He closed in eyes in regret and shame!! ... He needs to meet Geet ... He needs to apologize for everything he did to her!! ... He can't change what has happened but he has to repent for his misdeeds!!

His anger is his biggest enemy!!

Anger doesn't solve anything

It builds nothing

But it can destroy everything!!

Just than Adi barged in the washroom, he flinched seeing his pain but controlled himself. Today Maan had crossed all the limits ... a friend in him could feel his pain but a man in him cannot forgive him for what he did to Geet!

"I don't know whether it will matter to you anymore ... but thought to inform you ... Geet is missing"!! Those were the last words he said before turning around and left the cabin.
