Yes, they aren't friends yet but she can discuss the case with him, he already promised to find the culprit in Rajjo's case and it wouldn't have been the first time, at the hospital she shared his doubts about how the blackmailer knew her moves, so she could've said she doesn't trust Akash and his excuse.
