Let's start with a question: how many of you feel that popular TV actress Dipika Kakar should not win Bigg Boss 12? We're sure many of you nodded in agreement, and for obvious reasons. Ain't we all done with her extra dose of bhai-bhai melodrama that been happening in Bigg Boss currently? However, she's believed to be one of the strongest contender in the house to be in the top three, in the finale week.
This season has been the most boring season in the history of Bigg Boss, and guess who has mostly contributed to that? None other than Dipika. She's known for playing the popular character of Simar Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka. Yes! It was her character that turned into a fly. Anyway, moving on from that mind-boggling event, here are a few reasons why Dipika should not be the winner of Bigg Boss 12.
1. Her world inside the house revolves around her one and only bhai, Sreesanth, and she hasn't developed any other strong bond inside the house. Somi Khan was right in saying: "Dipika aur Sreesanth toh apna hi ghar ghar khel rahe hai.
She has a huge fan following but now, we have had an overdose of the bhai-behandrama. Thank you, next!
2. Remember what Dipika said before she entered the Bigg Boss house? She said: "Money is one of the reasons and I would not shy away from admitting it. I mean we all work to make money and I am doing the same. Ise kabulne mein mujhe koi sharam nahi. Now, is that the reasons she's taking the show so lightly and delivering zero entertainment?
3. Over the last few seasons, television bahus have been a constant source of entertainment in the Bigg Boss house. Last season, Shilpa Shinde and Hina Khan created a storm by forging the biggest rivalry in the house; and their powerful presence was massively entertaining for the audiences. Dipika, this season. has failed to create any ripples with her bland persona.
4. Dipika might be the most dignified contestant in the house, but being dignified doesn't mean zero action and entertainment. Thank you, Dipika! It's only because of you that we haven't watched a single extra dose episode. You have made it boring AF! Also, since she's so graceful and dignified, why didn't she befriend the commoners in the house? Yup, we caught now, haven't we?
5. She only takes a stand on issues that concerns her "bhai. She only raises her voice and opinion when Sreesanth is involved. Then, she claims to be fair and justifies for not speaking up--it's beyond her dignity to stoop down. Come on Dipika, we ain't fools watching the show.
6. She can't win a show by taking charge of the kitchen. Just because Shilpa Shinde won last year, doesn't mean whoever takes up the kitchen is destined to win the show. Shilpa did her tasks well, and kept the show going with her sense of humour and bonding with other inmates.
7. Dipika claims that she does her tasks well, but we all know the truth. She hasn't performed a single task without Sreesanth's help, and we wish she was a lot more independent as she claim to be.
Not only the audience, even last year's winner Shilpa thinks that Dipika doesn't have the winner's attitude. In an interview Shilpa said: "I would tell Dipika to come out of her shell. I think she's not real and mostly pretending. She should not take her bahu image so seriously. She can't win a show by taking charge of the kitchen. I think they have started believing that one who's busy cooking ends up winning the show because I was mostly seen in the kitchen during my season. However, a lot more is required than just that. Unlike her, I was aggressive and didn't try to be nice from day 1."
We couldn't agree more with Shilpa; but more importantly, we don't want such a bore to be crowned as the winner.
