Why was there no SHAHRUKH in Student of the year?

Any idea?

Did SRK or Karan ever talk about it?

We know Karan like SRK to appear in his movies in some capacity, like he did with kajol who was in themovie.

It was the time when they had that fall out due to PC, SRK didn't even appear on KWK that year.

Red chillies co produced the film.i think. But srk and kjo had a fallout that year. Actually for a couple of years before that they had grown apart. Kjo says so.in his book. Salman opened that season of kwk.
