Now, as per Republic TV, Mika has been arrested by Dubai Police for alleged sexual misconduct. The singer has been accused of sending inappropriate photos to a 17-year-old Brazilian girl. The complaint against him has been lodged in the Muraqqabaat police station by the girl itself. Republic also revealed that the arrest took place at 3 am in the morning from a bar located in Bur Dubai and was then taken to Abu Dhabi jail.

The Dubai Police has confirmed to the channel that the singer is in their custody. Mika was in Dubai to perform at a Bollywood event. After the singer was arrested, several of his friends have been trying to release him from the jail.

It's a downright disgrace. Good that he was caught red-handed in the act in a place like Dubai where stringent laws are in place. Hope he gets his due punishment.

@OP - yah this should be sticky for him considering they took him to AD instead of keeping him in Bur Dubai. There it's even more conservative and stricter!
