Why don't we have much on Maher's professional life? She's a lawyer and is appointed recently..We can we have the story from Maher's angle rather than Mariam? I mean we can have one good plot on Maher fighting Majaaz's case with the help of Ashraf brothers. This would be more sensible and logical since these three had been in the same city and more informed about the changes happening or happened unlike Mariam who was at Amritsar for 10 years with nothing on hand.

Right now I find Zain wired. Zain doesn't shows any emotions towards anyone. Was it because he's betrayed in love or family issues? And seems Maher is just concerned for Zain. 😕 I mean her reaction to Zain's Nikaah was little dull. 😕

You're right Chhoti.. Meher is only shown inside the Mahal either fighting with Rifat or consoling Madeeha or chupchap listening to Biji n Mariam's plan 🥱

Meher was the one who stopped Mahira from escaping with Rehaan n get married to Zain ... Right now I am waiting for Zain Fawad confrontation n who killed Mahira.. .

Actually there's nothing much revealation on Maher's part. What was she doing these ten years? 😕Why didn't she tried looking for Majaaz and ten years tak she was jobless.😲 Like you said it would have been more sensible Maher finding some clues about Majaaz and fighting his case instead of showing Maher at Firdaus Mahel listening to Riffat's taunts. Okay she didn't knew whether Majaaz was alive or not... but kisi k pride k liye toh case lada jaskta hai na. 😕

Recall party scene-Biji with Maher, from that scene it looked as if Maher does likes someone...may be Zain is the munda.😛 Riffat shouldn't have an issue over Maher-Zain Rishta. Maher fits her Ladki wale conditions. 😆

1. The girl should treat Aliya like her own daughter which Maher does.

2. Zain ko samjhe... which Maher is already doing

3. Zain ko kush rakhe-Obvio Zain will be he happiest with an understanding Maher.

omg I didn't think of that. Maybe meher secretly loves zain. I would love if that is true. Articles say that zain will eventually fall in love with meher. 😳😃

I just find this weird Maher being the elder sister should be given the biggest responsibility not Mariam. Maher is sensible she will handle the situation more maturely.

Yeah Zain and Fawad confrontation is needed. This might leave few hints.

Maher started her internship just b4 leap. So she was a lawyer from 10 years. It would have made sense if she taking up a lead about the things revolving her father since she is a lawyer and as everyone said she would have handled things better. Why She is not given a front is because:

1) Mariam is the lead of the show (whether we like it or not it's a fact)

2) Post Majazz missing, Meher has become the sole bread winner of the family. She has to take care of her mother, grand father and the expenses of the house. Plus mahira's death gave her responsibility of Aliya too as Zain left her with khan family and went abroad.

I think she didn't go behind terrorist because they were thinking that majaaz is dead and she can't give away her family responsibilities to someone else and go to Pakistan and enquire about the facts.

I really don't think Maher was jobless for 10 years. The khans financial conditions are not that good. It was mentioned in first episode itself. They only have the name of nawabs. They just maintain there monthly expenses without debts because of majaaz profession. Since majaaz left them for past ten years someone from there family should be earning. And I think it will be maher only as her internship started b4 leap itself. Maybe she was practising under some lawyer for all these years. Now she became an independent lawyer? Something like that. The writers will never give explanation I guess since she is not the lead. I too Maher has fallen for Zain post Mahira's death. Maher had huge respect for Zain from first then it increased by the way he handled Mahira's affair with Rehan. This respect with his loneliness eventually lead her to fall for him. I don't think Riffat will accept maher because of her issues with Mahira and Khan family in past. I wonder is Aliya really zain's daughter? I feel she is Rehan's daughter but only Zain and Mahira knew the fact and they hid the truth from everyone. This explains Zain's indifference to Aliya.

@Sammy: Maher's reaction to Biji's question "Do you like somone" and then moving one step away and that shy smile... says os she has this crush on Zain before.😳

@Devtholic: No Dear Riffat is taking care of their expenses... Otherwise there's no other reason for Khans tolearting that woman in their house or listening to her taunts. This makes clear Khan were never in that financial position to look ahead of Riffat or think about getting rid of that woman. Maher or her family is never shown talking about profession or their earning sources since leap. We just had one scene in this respect Maher informing Madiha about her job. Now Maher is back to work changes in Khan's behaviour towards Riffat is visible.

Coming on the lead point... there's plenty of examples from ITV where the PH had to chang their story or move ahead of their lead's story for business reasons. I wish the same happen here and the focus is shifted from Mariam to Ashraf Brothers and the past connections. I surely do not feel enjoyed seeing unncessary drama revolving around Mariam, when she's the non deserving.

I think Maher took care of Aliya in these ten years. If she was a lawyer already, why did they say that she got a job in recent episode? Not Maher but Riffat is bearinf their expenses. Mariam may be the lead of the show for the maker, we don't find this character neither interesting nor feels attached as a viewer. What's the use of keeping such lead character if their customer aren't buying their product?😆
