I'm new to this forum. Started watching the show after the leap cuz of param.

It would be really nice if someone could give me a small summary of the pre leap drama, like who this Zain is, little history about meher and then I remember Maryam having another sister, what happed to her?

Another sister mahira died I don't know how (I missed few episodes) but she used to love rihaan(fawad and zain's cousin I think who also died(everybody thinks he(rihaan) was a terrorist but he was not it was fawad and zain's mom rifat's fault, coz of her he died and fawad went to prison or jail.

Meher also was trying to stop her sister mahira from running away with rihaan and marry zain. Which she eventually did coz of emotional blackmailing.

Rifat was furious as she found out about mahira and rehaan's affair. She did something with a pistol or gun, I don't know whether she gave it to someone or did something else but her intention was not to kill rehaan. At that time few terrorists were hiding in mariam's house. I think police or one terrorist shot rehaan. Mahira broke down in tears and police thought rehaan was with terrorists also. And mijaaz mariam's father ran away from jail, (he was in jail coz police found some papers related to terrorism or those papers were from Pakistan which fell into their car by mistake) his family and a friend helped him so that he can go to Pakistan to bring mariam back. Mariam's biological mother aayat(mijaaz sister) took mariam to Pakistan for her bone marrow in order to save her son mariam's biological brother.

Mijaaz saves mariam before doctors could operate on her as they also wanted her kydneys 😡 aayat didn't love mariam. Mijaaz asks mariam to run and he himself got stuck and terrorists got him. They wanted mijaaz for some mission, they knew he will come to pak for her daughter. In aayat's family there was a boy (Mariam's cousin) who was helping terrorists and giving them info. about mariam and how mijaaz will come to pak and all.
