I get that she was terribly upset for a woman who was once her best friend and cried for her and I have no issues with that reaction. That's humane of her to feel terrible about it.

But did she just say I am sorry Nandini. Please forgive me if possible. Why?

What's there to apologize for?

And now she will go extra mile of conducting a Pooja to make sure her apology as well as pardon is accepted. Mauli is indeed a mahaan character here.

Havent seen th episode yet. But I dont like that Mouli is blaming apologizing for Nandini's death. Matlab ab insaan ghusse mein ek-do baddua bhi nahi de sakta?

Ye shi h. Bina apologize kiye sb maaf. Life is cruel indeed. Mauli failed to get a closure forever. She can't even be angry anymore and she instead would feel more terrible to depress her all the more. She would not even know how to behave with Kunl now. Whether to sympathize with him or be angry for what he did.

Aur naya siyaapa-Mauli asking Nandini to forgive her. Why would she say that is beyond me? I get it that she forgave her but why apologize again especially to Nandini.

I think she's sorry that she died right. Like when there is a death you say sorry to hear that, just sorry about the situation.

It's not a black and white situation. She genuinely loved Nandini for most of her life, she didn't want her to die.

I think if we were in Mauli's position, most of us would actually emphathise far more with her empathy seeing someone once so close to her die.

Mauli literally said that Please forgive me Nandini. She just didnot feel sorry about the situation. She apologized with the dialogue-I forgive you and if possible please forgive me too.

I get when people feel sorry for situation but going on to apologize to someone who wronged you after years of their death. I don't think that happens.

It happens only in blood relations.

I don't know how much experience you guys have with the death of a loved one who wronged you, who you broke relations with. I hope you are fortunate enough to have none. When someone you love dies you feel so guilty. You feel guilty for ever hurting them for anything, you feel tremendous regret for breaking relations, even the big things like shocking betrayals seem so small when compared to death. So Mauli saying sorry was freaking beautiful. It just went to show how great she is and how much she loved Nandini.

nandini wasnt just any other woman.. she was her childhood best friend.. i dont know about nandini but mauli... we all know mauli cared about her so so much. she actually treated her like a sister, her jaan. she cried for her , she fought for her , she cared about her bcz she had loved her .. it was so so heartbreaking to see mauli witnessing that nandini died.. i was crying for the first time. i didnt cry in confrontation. but today everything felt so beautiful and right..

mauli wonders if its her hate and curses which led to her death. when we are emotional we tend to think like that.. she has lost her sense whwn she got to know the truth.. she wasnt able to accept that nandini died..

aditi nailed it today..

mauli feels guilty for her words that she didnt want to see nandini ever.. its an EMOTIONAL PHASE..

she seeks apologies for her unsaid curses which she never uttered from mouth but she has indeed cursed nandini and kunal in her mind..

she says sorry as she feels that her death might be due to her curses and her wish of not seeing nandini is granted. she feels sorry about that.

Loved what you wrote here.

Death is the ultimate and nothing can change that. How much ever in real life you hate the person or you are hurt by that person, when they die with things being unresolved, its a horrible feeling. Its a mixture of regret and pain of never having the chance to mend your relationship or forgive your deeds. Plus a guilt that may be unintentionally one of your curses was accepted which resulted in their death.

Nandini was very close to Mauli and there are many things that Mauli still wanted to tell Nandini that remained unsaid. She never got her answers from Nandini nor Kunal on how could they do this to her but she never wished her death. I think, even if Mauli never wanted to see her, somewhere she always felt that Nandini was there, unconscionably she had that support, hence she was the first person that Mauli went to when Kunal rejected her. That past relationship of friendship was always there between them and someday Mauli had a hope that she would be able forgive her friend and face her. Not for renewing the friendship but just to say goodbye to that old friendship. But with death everything changed. Now there is no chance of ever closing that door, of ever letting that friend know that she was forgiven and hence Mauli was saying sorry, not for Nandini's deeds but for not having that chance of granting peace to her friend which she knows her friend desired and wished for.

It was beautiful and right on Mauli's part and the first step for Mauli on that path of recovery which still has not started for her.

For letting Nandani live happy married life? For not telling about Mishty so that her mahan pyaar can get happy ending? For giving up her husband because mahaan Nandani fell for him? What forrr???
